its really really simple though the animatronics, but i also have a way for strings thats the manual way:)

by the way you can make an animatronic tongue using simple motors and string cause thats what i did,and trust me its very simple if you work on it.

@universalking95 Im sorry you probobly don't remember this responce you made, cuz it was six months ago, but on the responces you said you knew how to make the the inner jaw for alien go in and out. could you possibly exsplain how to do it because Im making a alien mask right now and i'd like to improve it

@blackplague2011 well i left mine how it is in the video, were you have to pull it down manually but what u can do is cut a colapsable light saber were u have the top three sections, then paint it and some how insert it into the mouth. you can also make a minny mouth on the saber. u can also glue a string into the saber so when you open the mouth the saber will retract, then pull the string witch is located inside the head and the tonge will go back in. if u have any other questions just message

or you could acually get one of those 2 doallor lighsabers and make it look like the tongue.

if you really want it realistic gt one of the more expensive spring oper lightsabers and disable the noise.

i think on the tongue toy should make in longer and so that it will still fit in the mouth make it like one of those plastic lightsabers so it goes out and can slide back in.i think the popsickle slick wasnt a good idea,you could use one that only the mout opens as a mask then a glove that has a luanching tongue but dont show the neck like in the movies where the alien is in front of a human and "snap" hes dead
