This commercial is lame, but on the other hand, the Asian Sony Alpha commercials are really cool. They seem much more targeted toward a trendier, more modern type of people, someone who takes digital photography more seriously and someone more likely to buy a DSLR.

couldn't agree more... Sony USA needs to try harder with their commercials so that their dslr's appeal to the mass audience (beginners, amateurs, and professionals). This commercial has no emotional connection.

I Love Alpha, but this commercial is stupid, and it really does not fit the image of the Alpha shooter. Furthermore, the commercial is a lie, as it implies that paparazzi and sports shooters use Sony. When these celebrities look down the barrel of a lens, the chance that it is an Alpha has to be less than 0.01%. No, those white lenses you see down by the field are NOT the Sony 70-200mm 2.8. I seriously doubt a pro sports shooter would be shooting with lenses that are not even weather sealed.
