I was kind of surprised that The King's Speech wasn't on your list. I thought it was genius, but I guess you have your reasons.

  • You're an awesome reviewer!

  • I liked the video, but you should keep in mind that some people (like me) watch these best of the year videos to get recommendations on what to watch.

So be either carful not to have any spoilers or warn about them if you have them ;)

  • Inception #3?!?!?!?!?!

  • My top 10 10 Girl who played with fire 9 Black swan 8 Scot Pilgrim vs. the world 7 Shutter island 6 Kick ass 5 Inception 4 Toy story 3 3 The girl with the dragon tattoo 2 Never let me go 1 True grit over all preaty good year but no where near as good as 2006 and 2007 was
  • Fury I feel that you overlooked the kings speech, as I believe it is a movie that deserves to be in the top ten movies of the year, your my favourite film critic and it disheartens me that this superb movie did not place, especially considering such strong performances from Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush.

  • what did you think of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo? and The Girl Who Played With Fire? I'm really curious as to your opinion to this series because I loved both of them and I'm eager to see the third.

  • thanks for reminding me about "Harry Brown". it was on a limited release when it came out and i was always curious about it but thanks to you, i will look for it. wow, you gave some in depth fantastic reviews! - Fuzzy Soul Tiger, Mr. PJ

  • 127 hours was also my favourite :D

  • Hey Fury, What did you think of True Grit? Just askin'.

  • A stunning Top-5, Fury! Our top picks are close to each other's... And as usual your exposition always sways me!!!

  • Great List Fury!!

  • no kick-ass??????????????????

  • One of these days Fury, when I move to NY, I want to go to a movie with you just to watch your emotions and reactions.

  • @SilentPhill I believe I am an AWESOME person to go to the movies with.

  • @FuryoftheFilmFan he is <3

  • @FuryoftheFilmFan do you speak thrgouhtout the movie?

  • Why no Scott Pilgrim?

  • first of my youtube critics not to put in Scott Pilgram

    great list BTW

too bad friggin Australia doesnt have 127 hours till the end of the month

  • My top five:

    5:127 Hours

    4:The Town

    3:Harry Potter

    2:The Social Network

    1:Inception

  • Due to money shortages I couldn't see as many films as I wanted to this year. But my top 6 would be;

    6: Despicable Me

    5: Solomon Kane

4: How to Train your Dragon

3: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

    2: Megamind

    1: Inception

Hopefully this year I will be able to get a job and see more films. While I can't deny Toy Story 3 was a brilliant film, just something about the way the humor was timed didn't make me enjoy it as much as other Pixar films. But that's just me.

  • My favorite movies are inception, toy story 3, Scott Pilgrim, and Kick-ass.

  • inceptions my fav but haven't seen ur top two yet

  • 5. Winter's Bone

    4. The Social Network

    3. Inception

    2. Toy Story 3 - Up in the Air

    1. Predicament

  • @thomas481995 I love winter's bone, it is by far the most under rated movie of the year. and it piss me off that more people didn't see it.

  • The Fighter is and R for you? I won tickets to an adance screening of it and the film still lies as TBC becasue it doesn't come out untill Thursday, but I asked the usher what the rating was to make sure I wasn't seeing any thing R rated and he said it was an M and that = PG13. I think a R rating for The Fighter would be a little stupid. Either way my top 10 goes.

    10. Boy

    9. Tomorrow when the War Began

    8. How to Train your Dragon

    7. Fantastic mr Fox

    6. Scott Pilgrim vs the World

  • I wanted to see Fighter, Social Network 127 Hours and Black Swan. The way you described Inception was how I described the film and Cloverfield. Inception & Cloverfield are my two favorite movies (please do not harass me as I am a teen and have not seen nearly enough movies to accurately judge my favorite.) #1. Inception #2. The Expendables #3. Toy Story 3 #4. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time #5. Iron Man 2 #6. Unstoppable #7. True Grit #8. A Nightmare on Elm Street OPEN FOR ARGUMENTS!
  • Scott pilgrim is my favourite movie, although I'm seeing Both Black Swan and 127 hours next week.

    Inception was also amazing.

  • Aww I'm saddened that there was no Tangled but I still love your Top Ten. :)

  • I would put Social network number 1 but I loved 127 hours and toy story 3. Also Exit Through the gift shop was also awesome

  • No Scott Pilgrim Fury? A little shocking.

  • 10. Kick-Ass

    9. True Grit

    8. The Social Network

    7. 127 Hours

    6. Black Swan

    5. Buried

    4. How to Train Your Dragon

    3. The Fighter

    2. Inception

    1. Toy Story 3

  • no Tangled, huh?

  • @FuryoftheFilmFan Did you see The King's Speech? If so what did you think of it.

  • Great list, Fury! Here's Mine:

    5) Kick-Ass

    4) Tangled

    3) How To Train Your Dragon

    2) Inception

    1) Toy Story 3

  • Altho David Fincher directed the movie with a dark tone, I was surprised at how much of the facts he kept straight. He also only showed Mark screwing over 2 ppl, whereas in reality, he screwed over like 5 or 6 ppl.

  • black swan is one of the most over rated movies i have ever seen its alright but not a masterpiece not even close

  • @YouJussGotCurbed it's not overrated, you just have shit taste for film, people with shit taste for film should just shut the fuck up and not talk when grown people are talking.

  • @DotoftheDead yes i should shut the fuck up for sharing my opinion typical utube douche bag but ya im the one who needs to grow up stay classy

  • The social network was fine.

I haven't seen The Fighter, but I might when it comes out on DVD. I will see Black Swan this February when it comes out for sure. I also am going to see 127 Hours on the big screen.

I agree Inception is an awesome movie.

Honestly, I'm surprised Iron-Man 2 is not on your top list. I do remember you giving it the golden fury award. Well, I guess that means I'm the only person who actually put that movie on my best movies of 2010 list.

  • Great list but where was Let Me In? Did you see it? If not you really should, even though you didn't like Let the Right One In. Give Let Me In a chance!

  • Everyone tells me Roger Ebert is a great critic, but you have replaced him as the critic I listen to.

  • Is inception on netfix? I'm going to watch it for my third time.

  • Inception was my favorite film of 2010.

By the way, thank you for all your amazing movie reviews of 2010.

  • Inception and Social Network are tied for best movie for me. Others I loved were Black Swan, Toy Story 3, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and Scott Pilgrim

  • My top 3 favorite films of the year:

    1.Black Swan

    2.Inception

    3.The Social Network

  • No scott pilgrim vs the world? I thought you loved that movie?

  • favourite film of 2010: Kick-Ass.

  • I still need to see Black Swan, True Grit, and Winter's Bone before I feel good about making a definite top 10, but right now, I'd say my favorite films of the year are Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Exit Through the Gift Shop.

  • Not only is Inception my #1 favorite film of the year..... It's my favorite film of all time. Though I was going to go see Black Swan this weekend.

  • I feel so off balance this year seeing as everyone's top lists seems to mostly have movies I didn't like or didn't see. That out of the way, I enjoyed your list and all the points you made for each film. Every time I watch one of your vids it makes me want to turn on the recorder and start talking about films, something that is a true passion of mine. Looking forward to whatever new reviews you have this year

  • float like a butterfly....not fly...it's cool though fury. I mess up when I talk way more than you do. The Fighter was awesome! Great list.

  • @SixStringGunSlinger haha, fly like a butterfly, sigh..

  • @FuryoftheFilmFan because butterflies float rather than flies.

  • @ManicRipper fly , float, tomato , tomatoe, potato , potahtoe.

  • Scott Pilgrim > all. Seriously, I'll be watching Scott Pilgrim for years.

  • 127 Hours I gotta see! But I walked in to see Phillip Morris thinking it was about cigarettes, but I was terribly wrong lol Sorry, but it was very unwatchable for me.

I think True Grit deserves to be in the top 10.

  • @flipknoc yeah it's def. not a movie for everyone, honestly speaking especially if you hate to see Gay stuff. me, it doesn't bother me as long as it's not some romantic exploration of homosexuality. If there is a solid movie behind it and there happens to be Gay elements then I'm gonna give credit where credit is due, like MILK was on my top 10 list last year. Now if it was some kind of propaganda and this goes for ANYthing , religious , any agenda, I won't be feeling it.

  • inception was my favourite film of the year it was brilliant

  • GREAT LIST FURY!!!!! my favorite movie of 2010 is The Social Network, it used to be True Grit, but after thinking about it, The Social Network is my #1 favorite film of 2010

  • inception is overrated!!!!.........why is somone's bullshit theory so good?

  • @theliting while its definitely not the orgasmic experience everyone claims it to be, it deserves a lot of the acclaim it gets. it's a really well made film. I mention that it chris nolan didn't go off the wall with the dreamworld and kept it tight. it's not the theory that makes the film so good, because , if we're talking theory here every single sci fi movie would be..well..bullshit. It's the pacing, the depth it gives its characters, its how the film reaches out and challenges you.

  • I agree with your list, but what about buried? did you saw it?

  • @TTHEBLACKR0CK I saw buried, frankly, if you see 127 hours .buried is nothing. 127 hours has real emotion and you get drawn in with the main character, I never got drawn in with Buried, In fact I could care less about the guy.

  • @FuryoftheFilmFan I saw 127 hours, and it deserves to be in the first place, but in my opnion buried was the best suspense movie this year

  • @FuryoftheFilmFan Good list. Btw what did you think of The Other Guys, Scott Pilgrim and Kick Ass?

  • @themightyjoseph the other guys are u serious theres 3 laughs in the entire movie

  • @YouJussGotCurbed The other guys was funny as hell and had way more laughs then just 3.

  • SCOT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD?!?!

  • great list.

  • hell yes 127 hours ftw !!!

  • first losers
