  • If you would tell James for me, don't move directly backwards but at an angle. It puts you into a better position for a counter. Keep up the training! Very entertaining to watch

  • additionally that's two pretty long shinai they guy in should have picked a short and a long one instead of two long

  • dual wield always look cool and shit but never work in real battle

  • Well, it can work very well with a dagger and sword, or two short swords, or dual axes/hatchets, etc. It's dual-wielding two full longswords that proposes vital issues. I just do it because I like the sense of balance, though I'm aware it's not as efficient--these matches were just for kicks anyway. And shinai are so lightweight that, while I could have used dual 32's more practically than those excessive 38's, it would have made things ridiculously one-sided/even more boring.

  • @Danpaco Fight with right and left arms is until. I try to doing this too^^ ist'n easy, it's sûr. But this is a good training for improve in simple fencing.

    Good dual with your friend.

    Good luck !

Dual wield two swords works well in real battle, but just like anything else it wont work if you don't have practice and don't know how to do it correctly. Musashi killed around 54 men in duals and he used 2 swords, sure one was short, but he could switch hands with them. Maybe the only reason he didn't use 2 regular is because carrying two regular swords all the time is a burden.

  • @zeroxeno8888 unless your Myamoto musashi :/

  • Nice!

  • The use of two shinai was done very samart and well lol
