@thnk4urself That really depends on which Ford you are talking about. Bear in mind that Ford design and market different cars in the UK and Europe than they do in the US. That doesn't mean that they get it right every time - for example the bug-eyed Scorpio or the Maverick - but at least you can get them to go around corners! As for the Lambo, they are talking about what is cool, not what is good. Part of that is to do with who is likely to buy one.

I don't think euro fords are bad, it just seems like they go a little overboards praising them. I actually think a cool person would buy the SV, because they know the difference between it and the other Lambos and why it's worth the extra money. Gallardo owners are the least cool IMO

@thnk4urself Fair enough, but the problem with anything that even approaches being a supercar is that so many are bought by midlife crisis sufferers trying to prove that they are cool. I think that's roughly what Jezza is getting at.

As for the Fords, you need to remember that Jezza was a big fan of the Escort Cosworth when it was around, and also liked the Focus. IMHO anything after the Mk.2 Escort was a stretch Fiesta. Not that he'd ever admit that he's wrong, of course!
