They did a pretty good job, overall (some clear weak links, but hey, that's normal in your average skit). Nice costumes, made a good effort on the wigs, fairly good timing.

Better than some Lucky Star dances.

I don't see what's so outrageously embarrassing about watching people having fun, playing a role in costume, and dancing to music?

Embarrassing would be if no one tried to dance, really bad costumes, bad wigs, and if no one looked like they enjoyed it.
