Don't know about that. There's been a bunch of artists with an all animated video. This vid could be considered similar to Radiohead's Paranoid Android. Then you get into better visual quality ones like Pearl Jam's Do the Evolution (which Todd McFarlane was behind, certainly not cheap). Plus there's Red Hot Chili Peppers' Love Rollercoaster which mostly took a lot of clips from the Beavis and Butthead movie, plus some of their own stuff. Animation certainly doesn't mean broke.
