I have that wasburn soloist dist but it just broke, when you press the bypass button the snap sound comes out from your speaker?? thats weird, so i recommend the artec soloist dist would be better but it is more expensive....

dudes, i just read that the washburn soloist distortion is the same like this pedal

and if you know thoman(cheap music stuff) its like:

washburn: 19 €

The pedal sounds very dynamic. Responsive to harmonics and stuff. I've been looking for a pedal with these qualities. How did you record this and what type of guitar did you use? Nice playing.

so its up 2 you which one really fits in your sound

I will buy one, this soloist distortion rocks.

Try the Artec CoolDrive, it's a Mesa/Boogie Rectifier in a box, and you can feel the tube, but there is no tube inside. It's my favorite pedal :)

You have to crank uo the gain and contour for max thikness sound and high gain humbucker pick-ups. Sometime I use Dano distortion as booster.

i cranked the gain in the pedal to full with the contour set to make it thick, i use my volume knob to control the gain
