As far as the music, I actually like some of the Advance Generation and the female-sung ones...though the Orange Islands, first Johto, and the Battle Frontier themes are awful in my opinion. Still, the original theme is the best, by far. In most of my generation, I'm pretty sure the words "I want to be the very best" are always followed with "the best there ever was." That says quite a bit.

As a kid I loved watching the original series, eagerly waking up to watch every episode on saturday morning...I lost interest after the Johto series. With the advent of the Unova League, I've decided that Pokemon were one of the best things about my youth, and even today I enjoy putting in my old games for some quality time. I've just begun to watch the entire series, start to finish, all 650 or so episodes. So far I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I'm enjoying the nostalgia.

Shinnoh was unbearable for me so I am guessing it was the kids favorite. not sure what to think of the Reboot that is 5th gen. no more puns in the titles D: I hope team rocket at least still sings the motto.

Kanto was awesome, Johto, people were like "okay," Hoenn people were "ehh...," Shinoh, people said "uhh...why...," and with this new one coming out with Black and White, people's reaction is "WTF are they doing?"

The worst ones for me are Battle Frontier, Diamond and Pearl, Sinnoh and Battle Dimensions... I had to skip or mute it.

I say that Unbeatable is my favorite cus, when I was 7, I would come home from school, and I would turn on the TV and the Hoenn series battle frontier would be on , and I refused to miss a single episode.. I still watch a few episodes now at the age of 12 but I'm not into it as I once was, but I still like pokemon. Some Middle Schoolers mock me for liking pokemon , but you know what? They don't have childhoods as good as mine was..

as for battle dimension and galactic battles, you have to admit they are good AS SONGS ONLY! they are girly though and OFC they AINT apropriate for a pokemon opening. they would be good as a barbie movie theme or something like that.

@hanxdynasty I agree with you, the first diamond and pearl theme was just not good at all and the ones after it don't really improve on too much until now with Sinnoh League Victors where, in my opinion, they went back to their more rock feeling openings and actually did a good job at least.
