I called support because the HP c309 (which was two weeks out of the year warranty) was giving me a paper mismatch when printing envelopes. They told me it was a printer head malfunction, and that there was nothing I could do, but get a new printer. I discovered that if you go to online support, their are a lot of possible solutions other than nothing...
Thanks for posting! I feel your pain. HP printers SUCK!

hey you fixed it!!! i bet it prints better now. my HP printer only printed good right out of the box, after that it has sucked my sweaty ever since
