I think this is a reasonable effort having seen the real band several times in thier hay day in fact better than the current version of Culture Club with that terrible Helen Lederer lookalike singing! I mean theres only the drummer and bass player left! imagine U2 without Bono or the Edge! result a terrible nightmare!

Like the others, I think the original is better. This one isn't so bad, but at some points, they just don't seem to hit the notes high enough. Maybe it's just me. Also, the music overpowers the words, which, because this isn't metal/rock, shouldn't be happening. We listen to music to hear the words (at least, I do). Either way, it was interesting listening to this- I thought it was worth a listen, at any rate. :)

(First off, SmashMyCrap & Latepop radio = same person) ... yeah I prefer the Boy george version. But as I said, I couldn't get rights to it, and I wanted to release this song, and I know someone in the band who performed in this single, so, I did it as 'kinda free advertising for constructive criticism'. For a garage band, I don't think they're bad. Seriously! They just need a *little* work in one or two *small* areas. Like I said, I thought this was an interesting listen. Hearing someone else sing an old favorite is different (of course- it always is), and resinging old songs always gets a lot of criticism. I mean, look at American Idol! Thanks for posting, anyway. :)

Very true! But we were unable to contact Boy George because he's serving time in jail because of drugs, last we heard was he's in New York cleaning up the interstates. And I have no way of contacting Culture Club...or let me rephrase, I don't FEEL like contacting, lol...so we settled for this. I'll see what I can do in the future to get that song! I'll try to get royalties from some 80s station in the area maybe. Stay tuned.

Yes it is better but I couldnt get rights for that. Also to all viewers, the next Latepop won't be out for awhile, I'm having PC trouble and it's gonna be at Circuit City's Tech Shop for a week or so :(
