I grew up here, and at 38 I still bear alot of resentment towards my dad to move to Nazienda Heights, where everyone was stupid racist and had a drug problem. I mean you got Denise Nicholas from Baby I'm back to speak at the library!!!! And at onepoint Whitney Houston sang at the Cerritos Center!! This really must be Hell, if I stayed in Cerritos I could have been a doctor! Rant over.... I'll seek help.
@GhostAvenger620 sorry, my keyboard wasn't working for a moment. um, I wasn't around cerritos when the library opened. And I meant your mention of Whitney Houston a week before she died was prescient, even if you didn't mean it...maybe "coincidental" is a better word.
@VANDERKOK Coincidence would have been better. But this wasn't the library I was talking about, this is the Cerritos center that opened up years after my pops decided to move. It's closer to the 91. I lived a few blocks away from it on Alfred and South.
