I have a question, when these surfers take a dive into the wave or duck under white water, where does the board/cord take you? do you always want to hold onto your board, I mean there is so far you can dive with a floatable device as well....anyway just curious

I think you mean 9 foot swells in the description, not 9 meter. 9 meters is about 30 feet.

The Halifax ocean buoy was reporting 9 meter swell that day, obviously not 9 meter waves crashing on the beach.

wow, i never surfed cow bay... but i try to get down to Lawrencetown 2-3 times a year.. I've also surfed queens land and clam harbor but they weren't that great.

Great video. Are there any places to skim near Annapolis Valley?

The beaches in the Annapolis Valley are very rocky, not good for skimming. I've driven along the entire bay in the valley and didn't find any sandy beaches. Still very nice to go beach combing though.
