old rs classic had the shittest graphics ever. I started playing rs when rs2 came out so the graphics were a little better. but now the graphics are great, but i do miss bank sales and all the other cool stuf before the GE.

Shame that Runescape couldn't stay this way because I remember the great times I had playing this game as a kid, and the excitement in exploring new things. They introduced the HP update so that the new players would see higher figures and become more excited, they introduced the trade limit because of Real World Traders and because of people moaning about getting hacked. They replaced the wilderness for PvP worlds... too bad it all went completely wrong.

It got ouit of control after they introduced the housing aspect into the game, thats my opinion anyways. It got somewhat boring after that, not really knowing what to do, being lost in so much frills. I played the game from 2001 to 2007. Was a member for practically that whole time.

Reasons I miss old RuneScape:
-Logging in an seeing the cheesey login background not a "lobby"
-All the people saying "bsale!" and interacting with one another not the GE
-Thinking somethig costing 50k is expensive not 5m
-Interaction with nice players not the immature jerks that play now
-And most of all I miss OLD RUNESCAPE! Not the so called enhanced RS2 now...

Nostalgic.
Shame that Runescape couldn't stay this way because I remember the great times I had playing this game as a kid, and the excitement in exploring new things. They introduced the HP update so that the new players would see higher figures and become more excited, they introduced the trade limit because of Real World Traders and because of people moaning about getting hacked. They replaced the wilderness for PvP worlds... too bad it all went completely wrong.

@KayleeCrEaTeD They added too many things for my taste. Too many things to decide on what to do. Too many things to grind. It got ouit of control after they introduced the housing aspect into the game, thats my opinion anyways. It got somewhat boring after that, not really knowing what to do, being lost in so much frills. I played the game from 2001 to 2007. Was a member for practically that whole time.

@gamezonic the GE COMEPLETLY RUINED RUNESCAPE there used to be a such thing as "merching" (THE REAL WAY) and things not being run by flippers/merchanters from the +5% up/down, Grand Exchange IS TERRIBLE i mean sure its quick to get items from but its 0 FUN/0 REASON TO TALK TO ANYONE ANYMORE/HAVE B SALES! apparently u never played when ppl used to merch Lobbys and Willow Logs at varrock/draynor...

Jagex ruines everything i would not even bother going on the website anymore. I played runescape since 2005 and got to lvl 97 I quit because everything sucked I wished the login in the game thing was the old thing without the HD option and crap I remmember when everybody was happy and playing with each other and having fun.Now Runescape turned into something that nobody likes and it just feels like someone taking something from you and I want to say FUCK YOU Jagex!!

I'd hate to say, the players of runescape did this to runescape. I love the new updates, but 90% of changes they had to make to stop scamming and crap is because of the freaking players! The exact same players that are now complaining and cursing out Jagex and rioting! Are you going to murder somebody and complain about them being dead? Don't f bomb jagex, f bomb yourselves. And making "better" graphics is making the game worse because people liked the simplicity of the old graphics. And when it comes to new skills what's the point considering 75% of people played the game to pk anyway. the 5 biggest mistakes jagex did:
1. They took away our old wilderness!!!!
2. They started change all the graphics and maked bounty hunter etc.
3. The hp update they multipled our hp with 10, that did most of pkers stopped pk and make vids etc.
4. They changed the trade limit so we couldnt trade over 5-250k or something.
5. They changed duel arena to so we couldnt put on more than 5-250k or whatever it is.
I hated the hp update most that destroyed whole rs!
