  • It looks like you are having lots of fun playing this!

  • YES! This is a really fun piece to play...(I had a blast recording that organ accompaniment, too!)

  • @HighlandPark400 It's so kind of you to have responded personally. Thanx!

  • Wonnnderful. Thank you, Mr. Foreman.

  • @BooBots Thanks!

  • spectacular!

  • I presume the organ section was pre recorded into the organ, and then you came on stage to play the piano solo. Its a great arrangement.

  • Yes, I recorded the orchestral reduction on the Robert-Morton theatre organ two months prior to the concert (when the hall was free). Dr. Marvin Faulwell, the KCTPO concert coordinator, started the playback (from the on-board computer), then he started the hydaulic lift for the organ's ascent. It was his idea for me to start the second half of the program behind the curtain and surprise the audience with the novelty of the unmanned organ! I'm so glad you like the arrangement!

  • @HighlandPark400

I loved this video! Only thing is, I never the saw the organ come up on the stage? Did I miss it?

  • @stxer Thanks - the organ is on a hydrolic lift...bringing it up to stage level...but, since the organ was "unmanned" my friend didn't continue to video it. Thanks again for your positive feedback!
