Generations is gonna suck. Most characters in this game are the same in generations crept you get the cheap characters from past games and a few characters like taka sasuke are even cheaper than before not to mention new characters to the series like the raikage
I have stopped playing this game. I had a record of 61/60, it didn't bother me that I loss what bothered me was I fought 121 matches and I felt like i was fighting the same person. It was like people were playing follow the leader on this game. I fought 10 hero' I loss to the first one but beat the other nine because they all did the same thing. This game became so boring so quickly because everyone I've seen so far did exactly what someone else did, there was no originality at all.
What people need to get is that YOU CAN SPAM WITH ANY CHARACTER! it doesn't matter if you use Sasori or Deidara or itachi your a dick if you spam and deserve to be spammed back
@SoldierOfShadowSOS dont worry, just keep practicing in free battle, i used to be not that great at the game but i practiced a lot in free battle playing in super hard mode. i managed to improve my substitution andive learned how to counter spammers. Basically keep practicing and you'll rank up eventually. im at famous ninja rank right now

I love to use "spam" characters with different tactics. I.E. picking Minato and fighting in a defensive way. I laugh at how people pick Pain immediately thinking im gonna rasengan my way through the fight
what naruto does with the rasengans and the grapples and bounceback is not spamming its about tactic and timing for example when naruto hits a character and support hits him back, you have to get your rasengan ready at the right moment... if its too early then naruto is going to miss and go under while the character is still falling above him...and also for the grapples and rasengan.. that is not what you call spamming... maybe u are not just good at substituting...

less chances to sub from them and they take no chakra . I call that BS cause I get owned by noobs who use asuma just becuase of his stupid tilng combo .
if only they didn't let players sub so easily from normal combos I would not be complaining about that .

just to let you know Deidara is pronounce day-dara. ps ranged attacks aren't spamming (not including jutsu spam), It is very easy to stop them. In fact a ranged attack from any melee char will usually stop their combo imediatly.
Shino isn't a spamming character, that's his fighting style.. you act like the four range characters in this game are "spamming." It's not spamming, it's strategy. It's not that hard to beat rangers either.. just dash.. plain and simple. At least these people don't overuse rasengan.
@FlyBoyKhi, i have had this idea where we make a spammer or rage quitter hitlist for both consoles. that way when the opponent quits because they are losing or spams we post their name in a videos comments then we all can talk shit and spam them back and all that good stuff, or just avoid playing them. that way the online community knows who to avoid at least. the spammers dont get matches which results in.tyem getting no points thus no higher rank.

@NinjaLIAM1000 Trust me that game WILL have spammers because the developers probably didn't fix anything. So all hope for that game is pointless. I'm gonna play it for the first 2 months and get a bunch of recorded gameplay and then I'm done with it.

Look, its the way the game is built, not the player. Your first example of Naruto spamming was lacking. Nothing anyone does is without a weakness. Call it by any title, but if it works, find a way to untangle it. Make a new strategy, then and there. Its all about timing and responses. If you can't manage that, you shouldn't play, and naturally, you'll complain you're being spammed. Fact is, you're being hit over and over with the same move; you still don't know how to counter or evade? lol
@Hiragnei Maybe its better for fans. I mean, that's what the game was really built for. You call people like Deidara and Temari spammers when really, that's just how they're designed. Finding position, gaining advantage, timing execution, knowing when to charge or use a ninjutsu over a shuriken... Its not as easy as you make it sound to "spam" correctly. I think if they somehow tweak and work on the substitution mechanic in the next game, the amount of spamming would decrease. Often times using normal attacks is pointless because they'll always substitute out of it and immediately use throws/rasengans and other jutsus, or just use their support. I usually can't get off more than a few hits without them substituting out of it unless I use a fairly fast melee user
I agree with this vid in every way... i honestly thought i was the only non -spammer at one point when i got 3 Deidara spammers, 6 Rasengan spammers, 2 Shikamaru spammers and a few Fireball spammers. @TheElectricGoop FlyBoy and you need to hear this: I discovered the dash-into-ultimate with Shikamaru on my own, without looking it up or anything. I normally save Ult. for finishers, since it makes more sense than to use it and have your opponent get back up. Now, I used that tactic, but it's not the only thing I can do: I tend to use Choji, and when he hits you as support, if you block I chakra dash to force it, then he comes back with knockback and I go for my Ult.
@ForsakenMemories45 I also tend to sub out of skills and grapple heavily....if your barraging me with senseless attacks and I have no other way out. Said grapple chains into Choji's knockback, and then I insert either Ult. or Team Ult. Also, if you can't learn to block the spammers, you shouldn't play: i mess up spammers with Shikamaru, Guy, Lee, and Hidan all day long. you just need to learn when to block. -.-

I never knew about spamming exploding tags like that, but that looks incredibly stupid. Also, if you have issues with Deidara spammers, I suggest Guy and waht I call counter spam: if they are close enough, while they are spamming, use Dynamic Entry! It ignores projectiles :)

itachi is the easiest to win from his susano'o defence. just use instead of dash (forward) use back-dash (backward), but you have to stand against a wall.
how to beat itachi's fireballs: choose minato press a side (not forward or backward only left or right sides) and hold it and click twice on x and hold it. you will jump and teleport and jump and teleport like that so he cant keep up with ur speed. so he has to come close to you and when he does that just hit him!

@AznSwagga2010 well some characters like ino and hinata are pefect for grappling spamming . hinata's grab is pretty quick and has a pretty good range and ino's grab is very fast . so think if you are doing a combo or basicly try to hit ino/hinata and they dogde they can quickly grab and get free hit on you. and yes you can of course dogde that as well but nothing can say that anything in this game requires skill . it's a shitty fighting game to be honest but not a terrible naruto game
Who can really make you mad, Ino. The way she can spam her Y+B (that's on xbox, triangle + circle probably for PS3) and throw the posionous whatever it is, gets annoying.
I really dont spam with anyone unless im at my last bars of health and I usually focus on my characters combos and occasional grabs to end the fight quickly.Tobi is really the strongest person in the game because I NEVER lose when I use him. I like him bcuz no one can complain if I DO spam with him because his attacks are slow as HEEELLL but I still win with his awakening.
Do you play Street Fighter or another fighting game? When I play spammers in SF or zoners, what I do is bulldog (blocking while slowly walking up to pummel my opponent) or use a rush down character that has moves that blow past projectiles. The key to fighting games is to be patient and find a counter, it's not CoD. I don't know your history with fighting games, but keep practicing, that's my tip to you. ;)

@NinjaLIAM1000 Trust me that game WILL have spammers because the developers probably didn't fix anything. So all hope for that game is pointless. I'm gonna play it for the first 2 months and get a bunch of recorded gameplay and then I'm done with it.

@FlyBoyKhi Yeah, your probably right... it's a shame. in the 1st Storm all you thought about was how cool the game would be online, and yet NUNS2 becomes overrun with spammers within 3 months of release. I don't know if i'm going to buy it.

Some characters are designed to do long range attacks. I could just as easily say "OMG ALL YOU EVER DO IS MELEE COMBOS SPAMMER." Jeeze. :/

Look, its the way the game is built, not the player. Your first example of Naruto spamming was lacking. Nothing anyone does is without a weakness. Call it by any title, but if it works, find a way to untangle it. Make a new strategy, then and there. Its all about timing and responses. If you can't manage that, you shouldn't play, and naturally, you'll complain you're being spammed. Fact is, you're being hit over and over with the same move; you still don't know how to counter or evade? lol

@Hiragnei Maybe its better for fans. I mean, that's what the game was really built for. You call people like Deidara and Temari spammers when really, that's just how they're designed. Finding position, gaining advantage, timing execution, knowing when to charge or use a ninjutsu over a shuriken... Its not as easy as you make it sound to "spam" correctly. I'll face anyone, anywhere, win or lose, with Karin. Spam all you like. Get into it.

I think if they somehow tweak and work on the substitution mechanic in the next game, the amount of spamming would decrease. Often times using normal attacks is pointless because they'll always substitute out of it and immediately use throws/rasengans and other jutsus, or just use their support. I usually can't get off more than a few hits without them substituting out of it unless I use a fairly fast melee user

I agree with this vid in every way... i honestly thought i was the only non -spammer at one point when i got 3 Deidara spammers, 6 Rasengan spammers, 2 Shikamaru spammers and a few Fireball spammers. ALL IN A ROW... I then quit the game cuz now its overun with spammers (spammer vs spammer lol) then i came back cuz i wanna be the 30% of people that dont do this shit...

@TheElectricGoop FlyBoy and you need to hear this: I discovered the dash-into-ultimate with Shikamaru on my own, without looking it up or anything. I normally save Ult. for finishers, since it makes more sense than to use it and have your opponent get back up. Now, I used that tactic, but it's not the only thing I can do: I tend to use Choji, and when he hits you as support, if you block I chakra dash to force it, then he comes back with knockback and I go for my Ult.

@ForsakenMemories45 I also tend to sub out of skills and grapple heavily....if your barraging me with senseless attacks and I have no other way out. Said grapple chains into Choji's knockback, and then I insert either Ult. or Team Ult. Also, if you can't learn to block the spammers, you shouldn't play: i mess up spammers with Shikamaru, Guy, Lee, and Hidan all day long. you just need to learn when to block. -.-

@ForsakenMemories45 And I also throw exploding tags alot.....if your at low health and at a distance. That, and if you one of those guys you like to stand an rapid-press block for sub out, paper-bomb, then paper-bomb again.
I never knew about spamming exploding tags like that, but that looks incredibly stupid. Also, if you have issues with Deidara spammers, I suggest Guy and waht I call counter spam: if they are close enough, while they are spamming, use Dynamic Entry! It ignores projectiles :)

Shino aren't that bad. Although shikamaru's exploding Kunai is annoying and Shino's bugs are a little annoying.
Deidara, Temari, Tenten, Naruto, Deidara, Minato appear to be the most spammable
Deidara, Chiyo, Kakuzu, Sasuke, Itachi, Hidan appear to be the most used teams
I don't know why people love fireballs soo much I mean all you have to do is block for a mili-second.

As much as I hate spammers I have to say that if you can't defeat a spammer your just as bad. I mean literally just think of a suitable strategy to overcome these spammers considering they use the same tactics.

itachi is the easiest to win from his susano'o defence. just use instead of dash (forward) use back-dash (backward), but you have to stand against a wall.
how to beat itachi's fireballs: choose minato press a side (not forward or backward only left or right sides) and hold it and click twice on x and hold it. you will jump and teleport and jump and teleport like that so he cant keep up with ur speed. so he has to come close to you and when he does that just hit him!

@AznSwagga2010 well some characters like ino and hinata are pefect for grappling spamming . hinata's grab is pretty quick and has a pretty good range and ino's grab is very fast . so think if you are doing a combo or basicly try to hit ino/hinata and they dogde they can quickly grab and get free hit on you. and yes you can of course dogde that as well but nothing can say that anything in this game requires skill . it's a shitty fighting game to be honest but not a terrible naruto game

I really dont spam with anyone unless im at my last bars of health and I usually focus on my characters combos and occasional grabs to end the fight quickly.Tobi is really the strongest person in the game because I NEVER lose when I use him. I like him bcuz no one can complain if I DO spam with him because his attacks are slow as HEEELLL but I still win with his awakening.

Do you play Street Fighter or another fighting game? When I play spammers in SF or zoners, what I do is bulldog (blocking while slowly walking up to pummel my opponent) or use a rush down character that has moves that blow past projectiles. The key to fighting games is to be patient and find a counter, it's not CoD. I don't know your history with fighting games, but keep practicing, that's my tip to you. ;)
