AMERICA V UK fagfest. You know why the yanks and britz always argue? It is sibling rivalry.. Ask any parent and they will tell you. Now for the facts children, SAS/SBS do kick ass, so do many other SF in the world. SAS may have been the pioneers but they are not invincible. When you see all the bitching on youtube, you can guarantee it's kids, as i'm sure any man/women worth their salt in the SF would have total respect for all nations SF. Beckwith was famous for teasingly calling his troops "poetry readers", but after living with the SAS, he commented that "these guys not only read poetry, they write it". -- the quality to think outside the box. Col. Beckwith always considered the SAS to be the best Special Forces unit in the world, as they still are today.

I think the SBS are THE most hardcore elite force in the world because they go through the same joint selection process as the SAS, but along with additional trainning like scuba diving, swimming endurance, underwater demolitins, beach recon etc. The Navy SEALS are the same as the sbs but Amercia's version, the same goes to the Delta Force and the sas

@Scorpian472 no british forces train on a much higher key than the armericans our tier 3 are better then any of there tier 3 forces inc there "devil dogs" are tier 2 royal marines are better than there tier 2 forces and most royal marines do a commando course and navy SEAL's dont you could easily compare royal's to SEAL's then SEAL team 6 can be compared to SBS but just under like i said we train at a higher spec and we train in more enviroments than any of the SF's.

SBS most elite ha they went into Libya by helicopter 4 some reason when they could have taken a car and not get detained by fkn farmers. Also I think the SAS ( the most elite SF) is mostly made up of PARAS so like the super paras :)

These gurkhas have been a part of the british forces since WW2. They where not always SAS but the british saw their unique potential as guerillas fighting the japs.
The name SAS was given in WW2 in africa. It was used to confuse the germans. Special Air Service. When intelligence hear find out SAS have deployed they immediatley consider it to be a branch of the air force not special forces infantry

The British created the U.S navy and train there special forces.
The SBS is the most lethal force in the world, no-one knows anything about it, although people have seen them train for split moments in the south of england.
People think the SAS is the best but its not the SBS does everything they do including underwater tactics and specialise in submersiable mechanical vehicles.

@TheMarkWaterson its not just the south of England they train in,they train in Jersey too.its usualy a rib assault then a bunker clearence then off with in 30 mins.where as the SAS do a full weeks training the same as the RM and Para's
