as i've known for darna, she is not lumpo, Narda is a kid and when she transforming into darna dat is just she becoming a superwoman.. so dat no one will notice whos behind Darna.. :) thats the original story of mars ravelo even the 1st motion picture it goes that story.. :)

I'm really confused with Narda. Is she really a "lumpo" in the original Mars Ravelo story? Because in the movies, she was not. Except for Vilma's "Darna vs. Planet Women". But in other Vilma movies where she played Darna, Narda was not "lumpo".

Thank you for your help. I really enjoy watching the show, though I do not understand all of what is being said. It would be cool to have subtitles underneath the dialogue sometimes so I can actually understand the show better. I have read the premise of the character, and it is so cool to have a strong superheroine/warrior character that isn't Wonder Woman. ;)

THe transformation is cool, but isn't the "Darna" shout the same one that was used in Angel Loscin's tenure as Darna? I read somewhere that Loscin couldn't say it convincingly enough so one of the former Darna actresses dubbed it, but did this happen with Rivera?

@jadewarlock Uhmmm. Asia's Song Bird? Regine Velasquez. Of course they will use her voce. She's the biggest asset the Kapuso Network has. She was only Darna for 2 mins though, in the movie Captain Barbell by Ogie Alcasid and Phil. Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla.
