As a transgender/gender queer person, I don't think it's so offensive to question whether Rainbow Dash might be gay based on her behavior. Because of the way I act, a lot of people assume I might be gay. Since I don't have a problem with gay people, I don't see any reason to take offense. She might be supposed to be gay, or might just be a tomboy. Personally, I think it would be awesome if there was a gay cast member in this show, so I kind of hope she is.
In an alternate reality where Girl's are named Desmond and randomly transform into invincible amnesiac bears, I have successfully concluded that the little girl that was kicked to the moon transformed mid-air, lost her memory, and landed on the moon safely. Hence, *sings* De~smond the Moon Bear! How did he get there? Well... Yeah...

DUrr, she isn't a homosexual just because her character has rainbows as a central color pallet for her mane. And it is very offensive to both heterosexuals, and homosexual tomboys alike to assume that a character is indeed a homosexual just because they are a tomboy.
