  • I bellydanced when I was pregnant. My baby was breach and I stopped bellydancing for a week and my baby got into the correct position. I started bellydancing again towards the end and it made my water break a few hours later. I labored for 32 hours cause he was posterior. He was in the correct position until I started to bellydance. It's not safe for every pregnant women. Back labor without epidural is no joke. I wish someone would do a study, an actual scientific study to know what I did wrong

  • lol i'm afraid to know what I'm going to look like at 6 months! My belly is already a little bigger and i'm only at 3 rofl. I'm kinda freaked out to keep bellydancing too lol but my body keeps telling me "dance woman dance!" lol.

    Really beautiful performance! =D

I bet baby could dance like this right after birth lol

  • The beginning song is "Zeina" then it turns into other songs..not sure about the rest.

I belly danced and performed until I was nine monthes pregnant. It was a lot of fun. This video is very good...wish it were a bit closer.

  • @hnnhvi

But i hear that pregnant women should not move because they might be hurt their babes..I dont know actually.Lool:)

But you are champions women..God bless you..And its nice song "Ziena".its Egyptian..Are you egyptian?

  • Ooooh what is the music?

  • @alittlebitofperil

Its egyptian.. And its called "Ziena".

Amira (also pregnant, also belly dancer)

  • How incredibly beautiful!!!

She cpouldn't be my wife, we'd end up with 32 kids!!!....just so I could see her dance pergnant. lol

  • That was beautiful, thank you for having it up here - it really encourages me. I did some when I was younger, and haven't for over a decade, but in my third pregnancy I've picked it up again, and found many many benefits. It's so beautiful to see what I may accomplish once I've had time to get into things.

  • Actually, midwives and doctors encourage belly dancing during pregnancy, as it was originally a dance created to help a woman ready herself for labour. Sorry to disappoint you.

  • WOW...this is amazing! I wish i can move my body like that. I love this video!

  • berbattttttttttttttttt

  • I have just started to learn belldance. I am also trying to get pregnant and dont want to stop...is it safe to continue dancing...my teacher says it isnt safe...what is your view? obviously you think it is, but you are a professional?

  • It absolutely is safe to continue. Our studio's prenatal bellydance class teacher is a medical professional and says as long as you avoid the sharp locks and heavy-duty shimmies, it is totally safe. It actually is beneficial to continue bellydancing while pregnant because it will help the pelvic and abdominal muscles and joints to get ready for giving birth. Also, if you follow an exercise program before getting pregnant, it is terribly UNhealthy to stop it during or just before pregnancy.

  • ...bellissima... stupenda... unica!!!! complimenti a te e al tuo bambino! :)

  • when you wanna be in usa, and be pregnant again. let me know. i want to goto deutschland, or osterreich. and find you. goto east berlin., and live with your pregnant body

  • Yes, you can say Americans can´t pronounce at all...

    *lol*

  • the name TAMARA is an ancient biblical name which means PALM TREE. the Russians, and only the Russians cultivated the name and became very popular among their people. only recently, other countries are noticing the name TAMARA. it was difficult growing up in the 60's as no one had ever heard of the name Tamara except people of upper class. Americans can't pronounce the name at all.
