i guess. i don't know. it all came with my computer. you might, i think they offer old versions of programs for free once the newer one is released. and this one is 2 generations old!

use star shine, change the color to whatever you want. make it the smallest star too. then, once you've applied the effect, click and drag the video with the effect to your desktop. put the video back into imovie, you can now add a 2nd effect

6 from iLife '07. You can't do any effects in iLife '08.

it's tough to explain
1-2 star shines, picture of frame, zoom blur.
2-picture of frame, solar glare thing (try to get it so it's sideways), earthquake (only left and right though)
