Great vid I like you are gluing the seal right onto the suit fabric all the american vids showing this job cut the old seal away leaving an inch wide ring of old seal to glue to, when I pulled at my perished seals they came away from the fabric? may be a hole in you flat round disc the size of the one in the suit so surplus neck seal can drop through, spreaders for the glue can be got from motor factors for car body filer.
