August 5, 2009 - Congrats to all of the supporters of Issue 1, a 1/2% tax increase for those of us who live and work in Columbus. Not a landslide by any means (52% yea, 48% nay). I personally can't believe it passed, but with the support of all of the government employees who work in Columbus, coupled by the fact that non-residents could not vote on an issue that directly affects them .... well, why even have an election? More money for the tax & spend politicians to waste. It makes me sick!!
