  • I'm doing this piece for my grade 7 and this is amazing! You play the tricky bits so well! :D

  • I don't recall this peice containing quite as much stacatto as you conveyed, although fab on the whole. (:

  • Very nicely played. I'm currently studying this piece, and I know how difficut it is with the fingering. Your fingering is excellent. :D I'm very jealous!

    A bit of constructive critisism...

Perhaps a clearer difference between your use of forte and piano etc would strengthen your peformance. :)

  • This is excellent! I will have to learn this Kuhlau very soon. You have awesome control in your runs. Extremely enjoyable. :D

  • I'm doing this for my grand 7 exam in December and I was told to play it so slowly comparded to u for my exam , I mean holy fuck wow your awesome

  • u a playing very well!nice finger work ,i will take this piece for my grade 7 exam next year!i hav my first video of piano performance please give some comment!!!

  • u r so great please please can u give me a piano sheet please

  • Very nice playing, I was listening with the score in front of me and you paid a great deal of attention to the numerous rests in the piece. I have to learn it now for my Grade 7 exam in Sep.

  • Good !!!

  • Very well done, with high accuracy !

  • Nicely played! just quieten it off a little bit, but apart from that, it was amazing.

Over in England this is Grade 7 standard... well, for Trinity Guildhall :) Keep it up!

  • you played it too fast on some notes, it was really weird because some of the crotchets were as fast as semiquavers, and ALMOST NO EXPRESSION WHATSOEVER! oh my god if you played this in front of an examiner you would probably get something like a 9 out of 15

  • @australianasian Dude what time period is Friedrich Kulau from? He's late clasical early romantic. I think the playing was a good interpretation of the piece.

  • Very Nice!! You have an excellent balance between your hands. I just played the Second Movement today at a festival, but i would like to learn this one soon! .. Is it gr. 8?

  • Under Trinity Guildhall's syllabus, it's Grade 7

  • A fine account - strong rhythm & strong fingers! I am turning my house upside down to find something nice for you btw!

  • Thank you Jonathan! You are a truly wonderful composer! (*^^*)

  • Hey Olly! Thanks for your comment. This IS hard, for me anyway. Here in Canada they changed this from grade 7 to grade 8 starting this year. But learning this piece helped me a lot because I learned so much from it and the judges in competitions and exams just love it! (^^)v Please check out my concert performance of this too. I put it in as a video response.

  • wow you play with such clear tone and accuracy. i think it was very well done...

  • Thank you Jae! (*^^*)

  • You play this even better in concert! (mostly a sign that the person is meant to be a performing artist.) Do you play Beethoven? (his music would suit you.)

  • Thank you! I really love performing! I haven't played any really serious Beethoven, but I hope I will some day! I am actually thinking of working on a Beethoven Sonata with violin this summer! (*^^*)

  • Thank you! My grandmother bought me this piano! I'm so fortunate! :):):)
