  • teaching your dog to roll over on command "metal gear", genious!!!

  • Programming, graphics, soundtracks, dog training and you play the piano! Is there anything you can't do? :) Nice work

  • Well, she is also a mage.

  • That's amaging! (I'm cringing as I type this)

  • lulz.

  • A SPOON mage O_O

    (Lusikka means spoon x_X)

  • lol. A finnish cutlery wizard? How did the end game turn out?

  • I think it turned out alright. It's decently polished, but I haven't really had a chance to play it with four people.

  • I'm in the same boat. I limit my games to 1-2 players. Are you using gimp for animation? I've not seen it been done like that

  • I use Paint Shop Pro 6 for all my pixely things. It also came with Animation Shop, so I use that to make sure my sprites animate alright.

  • Oh o.k, it looked like something else. I don't think I'll be getting paint shop anytime soon. The best way I've found is to test the animation in game (by best I mean cheapest :))

  • How can you check all the comments on all your videos? :O

  • Usually most comments are sent to my gmail, but not responses to users besides myself. Those are displayed in the youtube inbox, though.

  • I like! On the wonky forest level, you can fall to the floor on the right hand side of the screen then be stuck down there not able to get back up onto the level. Also, the level with the pipes, you can't get to the top of the level where the other characters are if you start at the bottom, so a player ontop could just stay there waiting till the end to come down and finish people off.

Otheriwse, yeah, it's cool. HAve you thought about how to have multiple frames of animation for attack moves?

  • Yeah, still need to work out bugs in maps and stuff before final release.

Everyone has four frames for attacks and movement, but only one for jumping, defending, and hurt.

  • LOL wow, cool game :) ahaha I laughed really hard at your dog's roll over trick. Hilarious "Metal Gear" LOLO

  • I can test it for you, debug, and stuff. Just ask me! This looks really good! You should put a timer on the attacks. Looking forward to playing this! Lol, you also are good at coding like me. xD

  • looks sweet, if I manage to get someone round in the next few days i'll gladly test it.

though from the video it looks like it runs smoothly and overall quite impressive.

P.S 'Metal gear' rollover is awesome

  • What's more awesome is having my parents shout "metal gear" to try to get him to do tricks.

  • Downloading...

  • so, I just finished watching this video and playing the game a little bit.

I have to say, i'm really impressed, the game plays really well (you don't feel like your restricted in terms of the gameplay, only to the pre-defined rules), it felt very SSB-like and I thought that was really good.

nobody can make any complaints about your art, becuase its just great (better than anything I could do haha)

keep it up, you come out with some really interesting stuff you know :-)

  • cool vid, are you planning on sourcing the demo at all???

  • Yeah, but my code's a mess. :(

  • demo looks cool, and err.. cheese instead of blood? sounds good to me!

  • Maybe it'll be a parental control. Cheese replaces blood, and Rick Astley replaces explosions.

  • Cheese and Rick Astley! This game is better than ssbb

  • I thought bootlegs don't have parental control?

  • looks cool so far. unfortunately i can't test it because i've nobody to play with =/

btw, you told your dog a "metal gear" command???

did i get that right?? looool

  • Yup!

Metal Gear = Roll Over. o.0
