Think about that though CzarBelly. How many times have you heard about people claiming they can stop a tornado? FIrst off it has to be able to be deployed from a safe distance. Second how do we know what will happen when he tries his theory? It could make it worse. There's always a possibility that it could do even more damage. Besides to prevent another tornado from forming you would have to weaken the cell itself. The mesocyclone would have to weaken drastically to prevent another tornado.

There's a reason why I commented. These guys did many things that trained chasers (ie, NOAA, UoOK, etc) are *not* supposed to do. There's even videos to instruct chasers not to do what these guys did! Chasers speed only in emergencies; it's an unwritten 'honor code' among them and law enforcement. These guys are a danger to themselves & passengers, even if they're on the road alone. Mankind is supposedly more sophisticated than stupid, so I'll leave the rest for you to figure out.
