  • I like The Stand.

  • LMAO when i saw the Portal joke.

  • Comment removed

  • I agree with you in this video but I disagree with you in another.

  • @bigtrex5 And the point of that comment was what, exactly?

  • Also, it's probably no coincidence that a lot of Twilight fans are also anime fans.

  • @CrazyCheeseMagee ..what are you trying to say? I'm an anime fan, and I hate Twilight.

  • @shinobiflare I'm saying a lot of Twilight fans like anime, not the other way around. Most anime fans I know don't like Twilight, but that doesn't mean there aren't a lot of Twilight fans who love anime. I heard from one of Marzgurl's Anime News Editorials about a teenage girl who went with an older man (later arrested for child abduction) who promised her to take her to an anime convention and Forks, WA where the Twilight books take place. It's the one called "Not Anime's Fault".

  • @shinobiflare And it's also the kinds of anime and characters they like. I understand you're a fan of Soul Eater, but from the very little I know of it (mostly from you) I doubt most Twilight fans would like it. Something with a lot of bishie characters, like Gravitation, would be more like it. And I guess I'm sort of stepping on a soapbox and declaring that I'm not much of an anime fan myself. Here's more elaboration from me: frankoko(dot)deviantart(dot)com/gallery/#/d345f7m

  • @CrazyCheeseMagee really? Most anime fans I know on DA hate twilight.

  • @Kellox17 I haven't been in the anime community for a long time, so I forgot. (I'm more in the political community.)

  • ever heard of Twilightmom and her sister? they are obsessed with Twilight but believe anime is childish

  • @Kellox17 I have heard about them but I don't pay attention to them.

  • @CrazyCheeseMagee Whaa? No way! I like anime and I don't like Twilight. I mean I over heard a few Twihearts ex-friends of mine said that anime sucks and that I was childish for liking it. The anime club back at my school even said that Twilight wasn't even that good in taste.

  • @YukiTYumYum Okay, let me rephrase that. A lot of the Twilight fans I have encountered OTI and IRL are also anime fans. I should've stated that in a less generalizing way. Sorry about that.

  • @CrazyCheeseMagee Oh, it's cool. :) It's just that I was surprised that I've never heard of anybody liking both. Basically, I found at Deviantart that most haters are usually anime fans but never both.

  • @YukiTYumYum Strange, I've encountered the opposite.

  • Aside from the fact that this is old news and NuttyMadam's a dead horse like Guptill and Shadvic, I will say that Stephanie Meyer is basically Danielle Steel or Nora Roberts for teenage girls, i.e., romance novels. And romance novels tend to sell like hotcakes. That's why Fabio's so popular; he got his career start from posing for the covers of romance novels.

  • LOL~ "I DO~" I laughed so much there.

And this is why you SCRIPT videos; she's repeating herself, she's doing not much more than continuously accuzing Stephen King of thinking he's superior and attacking Meyer, and she's got absolutely NO IDEA what she's doing.

Epic fail right there miss NuttyMadam.

  • @KioriCloud xD I honestly loved recording that line. But I honestly feel kind of sorry for her, because this is what I must have sounded like before I started scripting my videos.

  • @shinobiflare ah well

  • @shinobiflare Scripting is good although I'm actually good at improvising. After playing games for so long, I can even make a mini review of my experience without jotting down notes but yeah scripting does help. I wouldn't mind unscripted videos if videos like hers weren't rubbish that felt like a glove being slapped across the face. She should write what she'll say or at least practice improvising, the second option she could at least attempt! Unless she's attempting to eat a burger instead XD.

  • I must say, i liked those reviews, i find nothng wrong information wise, especially in the little nemo one

  • @AntonyBlalock

Well part of the problem is that despite the character being an over-exageration of whatever Doug really thinks, to not see that the Nemo movie worked on how dreams would work in the real world and instead see it as another straight up story is what bothered people. I mean sure, some stuff he said is considerate but regardless it was still all based on dream concepts.

Once Upon a Forest though...I didn't see too much problem with on his end, just with Nemo.

  • @IsaacTales2 Well, the review made sense to me, and little nemo does have serious problem. I could chalk it up to nostalgia goggles, but that's unfair.

  • @shinobiflare When did the NC say he hated Matilda?

  • @terribletrench He said that in his Top 10 Film's He Hates But Everyone Else Loves, he put Matilda at #4

  • @MichaelSchomer It was actually his #3 I apologize for the nitpick but just thought I'd throw it out there ya no lol

  • @iranmanesh15 Oh oops my bad lol thanks for pointing that out

  • Hey Shinobiflare, I sent a message to you about a requested commentary on the PissedOffAngryGamer's Nintendo Shitcube Review. I sent it on 5/31. Have you seen the message yet? Because I'd really want to see you comment on that video.

  • I also kept quiet when Nostalgia Critic said he didn't like Let Me In

  • It's not that Doug's reviews were bad, it's that the movies were meh. With source material that is not so much bad as bland, it's hard to make a good review. I did appreciate the effort for Once Upon a Forest, but there was nothing there to begin with, and the review suffered. It still had funny bits, though.

I'll agree that Little Nemo was pretty uninspired, but again, that's due in good part to the source material.

  • While I await your next commentary I have to disagree that Doug's last NC videos were bad. They weren't the greatest. But I still found them funny and Little Nemo was pretty funny and I did like the Matrix joke and the twist on the Man joke in Once Upon A Forest was humorous as well. Still, I can't wait to hear what you have to say but I have a feeling that I'm not going to agree with you.

  • When did we get into the subject of the Nostalgia Critic? whatever the last 2 videos he made we're ok. and this bitch was, is, and forever will be a fat retarded fangirl who gets all her nutrients by licking Stephenie Myer

  • @WolfmanThomas It's called a lead-in.

  • I kinda liked the last 2 reviews

  • @gusgriz That's fine we all have different tastes you know.

  • Just goes to show that NC needs to review movies that he has a firmer grasp with unlike the last 2 movies he reviewed. That's why the site needs more animation reviewers like me and Cartoon Hero, but we'll probably have to wait until Inked Reality gets their own site.

  • @Headbanger142 Eh, I don't really care if I get on TGWTG at this point. I get decent enough views already.

  • @Headbanger142 i think he had a good grasp with nemo, he knew alot about it

  • Yea i didn't care for the last 2 reviews The Nostalgia Critic made

  • NCs full house and fern gully reviews where dreadful.

  • @lexlinkroy I honestly liked both of those.

  • @shinobiflare I liked the Full House review, I always saw the intro as a kid but never watched the show. After I saw the review, I really didn't get most of the show's jokes.

  • It scares me that NuttyMadame was able to become a Youtube Partner when she's just spouting Twilight is awesome blah-blah.

As for your commentary on the NC's latest reviews? Well I never saw the movies he reviewed and I only heard about Once Upon a Forest through an ad on a video and Little Nemo from your list as the Cartoon Hero (which I really like) of the Top 10 Forgotten Animated Films.

I guess even the really good reviewers can slip up a few times.

    Good luck commentating on him.

  • personally I didnt mind doug's next reviews (I have never seen once upon a forest) though I did see Little nemo and liked it but I still found Doug's review funny. and I am actually quite happy he FINALLY!!! reviewed another anime title I mean seriously I think he should review more anime in the future casue he did say he was an anime fan in his videos in the past! but if you dont like those two reviews thats a ok

  • @tehblackarachnid When did he say that? I thought he mentioned in the Cowboy Bebop Theme Lyrics vid that that was the only one he really watched (except Spirited Away).

  • @shinobiflare Considering he has made a couple of anime references (comparing don from legend of the titanic to tuxedo mask), the fact he goes to anime convenntions, when he compares the opening song in the care bears movie to a poorly dubbed anime theme in a commentary, referencing when Johnny ting bosch went into anime in his power rangers movie review and he mentioned in his worst cliches video how he really liked kiki's delivery service kinda says something to me but maybe I'm wrong.

  • @tehblackarachnid Yong bosch I mean stupid autocorrect on iphone

  • @SP4Mew Yep, both of them in a row. Hehe.

  • First off, dr cox FTW. Second, I figured crafty andy wore down your sanity, you sir are a trooper. Third, so your gonna tackle the critic yet again, I had a feeling he would do a review that would get ya, but 2 in a row, I look forward to them.

  • If there's anyone who can make a commentary on NC without sounding like a troll or a dick, it's you. I think you have what it takes to prove your point, we have faith in you.

imo while I enjoyed his last two reviews, I will agree that he was too harsh on them and the jokes pretty much re-used. Also with Nemo he didn't get the idea on how the movie works on real-life dream logic. Oh I wish I could review that movie, but I can't. It's not animal-themed.

    Good commentary though!

  • @IsaacTales2 Well to be fair you CAN review Once Upon A Forest. Good luck finding a copy, though <.<

  • Did she ever say anything about Vampires Suck?

  • @ZZDaikun Don't know, don't particularly care.

  • You don't like Twilight.

You don't like how the vampires sparkle.

Yet...you like the character Twilight Sparkle. :O

  • @ToughTheWigglytuff What's your point? And FYI, that character is the only thing that could make me say the sentence, "I like Twilight."

  • @shinobiflare

    Sorry, it was an attempt at a joke. ^.^;

  • She claims that Stephanie Meyer is the best author ever and defends Twilight. But NOT ONCE have I heard her defend her other books. Does "The Host" ring any bells? :D

  • @ABUsIVEUkE But...Twilight is such an UHMAYZING BOOOOOOOKKKKK....

  • @shinobiflare ಠ_ಠ..... No...

"Let the right one in" both the movie and the book blows all FOUR Twilight books out of the water.

  • @ABUsIVEUkE I know, I was just thinking of how she would respond to it. xP

  • @megajames12 That, and half the things he said didn't even make sense. For example, he complained about Little Nemo not making sense--though most of the movie was a freaking DREAM.

  • I won't kill you, Eli.

    Also, great video!

  • @DLAbaoaqu I meant the Nostalgia Critic fanboys. xD

  • Lol that's funny I read the twlight book and couldn't go past the 3rd page

  • I can't wait for your next comentary it will help me get the bad taste nintendo left in my mouth after seeing their press conference.

  • I read Stephen King's Christine and it was good. Even if the copy I read was missing a few pages in the beginning.

  • Oh yeah, this video. "He'll never be able to write a book as good as Twilight?" So Twilight is better than books like THE SHINING, IT, CARRIE, and MISERY?????
