  • Kick ass cover of the Chuck Berry classic. How does the 62s compare to the GFS 63? I'm not sure I should drop 120 bucks on pickup costs and instillation charges if I'm not too certain about which are better

  • @Dimefan91 I guess you know that I have the GFS Hot 63 Bridge pup in one of my other Teles...I have a demo of it, doing 'Oh Pretty Women' if you search:)) I love the GFS Hot 63...perfect for anything! I personally prefer the GFS Hot 63 over the Fender 62 Reissue because, the GFS is an AlNico 5 pup and has greater Clarity then the A-3 Fender pup.

  • hello matty what do you think of the 62 pick up . i put one in my cv 50,s i like it . it;s possibly better than the stock but it;s subtle . shows how good the stock pick ups are in classic vibes .

  • @twelvemeister The Fender 62 Reissue Bridge pup is excellent. I use 500k pots to push my Pups in all my Tele's. The 500k pots really turns up the contrast and adds that extra punch/bite that I like. I do hear the difference between the stock CVC AlNiCo 5 pup and the AlNiCo 3 62 Reissue pup with it's Raised and Staggered poles...different voicing between the 2..especially when picking the notes. I kept the CVC Stock neck pup in..as I prefer A-5 pups in the neck..and it has a great sound !

  • Even though this may be Johnny Rivers version... and his version may be the most famous... this is still Chuck Berry's song...

  • Nice playing, in your case i have put a little distortion.

  • Great Guitar playing. I couldn't really tell about the vocals as they were just sort of marked in the background and you were only jammin' at home'
