So...I went to my room, I found something, a Nintendo 64! With a yellow game in it, it had the words, Donkey Kong 64!!!!!!! I played it, SO, from then on I played all the games I could! Thats how I became a gamer!
It would have to be either sonic the hedghog for the genesis or it would be Final Fantasy 8 ever since i played 8 i have been a gamer. I never even knew about rpgs before that and all i owned gaming whys was a 64 after i played that i went and bought a ps1 right away and got 8 and still play it to this day. And now i am a little FF fan boy play eleven every day.
the game that started it all for me was Metal Gear Solid on the PS1. The gripping plot and in-depth gameplay made it amazing for its time, and made Solid Snake my favourite gaming icon. The MGS series will always reign in my opponion.
god i remember sneaking over to my neighbors house and getting a glimse at mario bros for the nes, he was the only one on the block to have an nes and his mom would only let us play for an hour a day, but the game that really got me addicted was super mario world, just waiting for the snes to come out, oh my god, thanks for the memories krill, rock on
Oh god, what got me addicted, well, I guess the game that started me off into the world of Gaming addiction was, Megaman X4, that was the FIRST game I really WANTED to beat, then came Castlevania: SoTN, the MGS...but yea, Megaman X4 started it off for me.
My first game was Sonic Pinball on the Sega Genesis when I was very young, like 8 years old. I beat it, finally, cuz you couldn't save that game. From there, I ventured to other Sonic games. When the SG was getting old, I got a PlayStation. That's when I met Squaresoft and the Final Fatnasy series. From there, I followed Square's franchise, from Chrono Cross to Drakenguard, all the way down to the game I play so much... FFXI. I don't know how my gaming would have been without Square.

It all started when I was 10 and played Mario 64. I couldn't get far because I was so young but I kept playing. Eventually I played Starfox 64 and spent many days trying to beat it. When I finally beat Andros I was very happy to have beaten it.

i started off when my dad was at a big flea market near a costco... so we went in to check. he had an atari 2.6k back when he was a kid, so he decided to grab us the SNES- for only 40 bucks and it came w/ tons of games, 2 controllers, and some acessories. I played mario, punch out(i think it was punch out) and so many other games and i loved it. then, my dad gave it to his friend for some reason, and got a ps1 a year later. luck just so had it that we had quite possibly the 2 best games of all..

My parents bought me the NES for Christmas (I think I too was about 8) and it came with Super Mario and Duck Hunt. I played the hell out of those two games. Those were the first two games I was hooked on. The next one I was really hooked on after those was Doom.
I had other games but Mario and Duck Hunt are the two that started it for me.
And i started getting into gaming when i first got my ps3. about 2 days later i saw krill's videos. i was inspired and soon after made a youtube account. Thanks krill. if it w asnt for you i would still be a nobody. honestly you are the reason i started doing all of this. thanks again krill :)
I was about 8 years old, and my dad got me an NES for xmas. I had two games, Gyromite and Duck Hunt. I played a lil Gyromite, but that was it. Then, I played Duck Hunt. I was hooked. I would hours on end, trying to kill all the ducks and advance in level. Someone told me I could get to a level and shoot the dog, so I devoted my self..."just one more game."
For me it was Final Fantasy 8, I had played games before that (FF7 too) but FF8 was the first game that I just wanted to perfect so I got all the GF's all the final weapons and got all my characters to lvl 100 making my play time over 80hrs and for my that was a life time,and that what made me a gamer, but unfortunately they aren't making rpg's like the use to (and Xenosaga's over).

lol . this might seem weird but . i think i was 10 - 11 ? when vice city came out on ps2 . & my brother didnt care whether i played rated R games . But , GTA: Vice City inspired me/ hooked me on playing video games similar to . Racing like Need For Speed , & First Shooters which is my favorite: Call of Duty 4. The video was a good idea dog . Well defentally CoD4. Its something i enjoy alot and i can play this 24/7 if i could.
Really wasn't much a a huge gamer. I liked games and i played them but before cod, not the biggest gamer yet.
I got cod 4 on christmas and 8 months later im ranked 3443 in kills and of millions of player. I would be ranked higher but i accidently deleted my 1st account which had 32,000 kills and if i didnt delete it i would have 112,000 kills
