Tell me MissEllen79, did you see this with your own eyes - or through the eyes of the media? Have you walked for a day with an Aboriginal person? I doubt it, because you would have seen the constant barrage of racism that Aboriginal people experience. The assult on Aboriginal people has been so vehement over our occupation that if Aboriginal people were "playing" victim, they would have perished long ago. So what is it - stand up for rights and we're told we're winging victims? Boring...
It's not winging or moaning, I'm a Maori from NZ and this same shit happened to us but we stood up and fought long and hard for our land, our rights, you guys are lucky the aborigines don't get up and cause an uprising revolution. yep only 200 years ago, the aborigines had their livelihood, their kids, their culture, language and integrity stripped away from them, take some ownership for what your guys ancestors have done an you do something about it, it's your guys problem, not theirs..
Frankly, I do agree with the government monitoring the spending of the aboriginal parents with their pension. The children should be the focus as well as the women. Their are so many kids being neglected and abused within the aboriginal communities. Money being spent on alcohol and drugs. Are going to keep this up? How else are you going to fix this? I think sometimes, you do need to be tough. The aboriginal culture is descending into nothing but negative. Stop winging and take action!
That's crap. You simply can't separate because this colonisation of the Australian country happened 200 years ago! Everyone must go forward, stop blaming, stop playing the poor victim, stop hiding the unpleasant truth of what's going on behind the curtain inside aboriginal communities, and TAKE ACTIONS. It's disgusting to see a lot of children within the aboriginal community being abused and neglected and the cycle keeps on going forever, the elders need to act on this and stop being in denial!
fuck off back to NZ wannabee whites

@frogmatt3
What rights are you standing up for? You have every right every other Australian has.

Your ignorance is astounding. Your lack of context reflects your youth and immaturity, particularily regarding politics and history. Shame
