No the GT-P is,the GTE is a Europe spec GT.The GTE is so Ford Australia can export,it has things like fog lights ect ect that need to comply with European road standards.Little things like that are stoping Ford from exporting these to US and Europe

Um, kinda vaguely right...Even from XL (early 60's) Falcons Aussie cars were different - ALOT stronger because our roads aren't that great.. Mustang is loosley based on same floorpan as XR (1967 onward) XA was first completely locally designed Falcon cos US stopped making falcons..

i own a AU XR8 manual have a search there a great car..they used the last of the 5litre 302 windsor engines in the mustangs from 94 except ford Australia managed to pull out nearly twice the power Ford USA could before they replaced it with the 5.4litre quad cam Boss motor
