nice job, but ditch the auto tune. its kind of cheating, and takes some of the hardest elements of multitracking out of the picture. you are good, but stop hiding behind so much computer help
@skidude7253 Although I do use AT on some songs to touch up the piece, I did not use any on this song. You probably shouldn't talk about what you do not know, but thanks for listening.
@skidude7253 You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I didn't detect any autotune whatsoever. I did hear some simple digital mastering with possibly some filtering to bring out each part. Excellent vocals! That harmony was Bangin!
@skidude7253 what sounds to you like autotune is probably just the harmony sounding like an autotune. I dont hear anything that sounds like autotune...????? Great Job Vance I enjoy your videos :D subscribed
@tiyenin It's because he's listening to it while he's singing it. It's not bad, I think it's awesome still, but when someone's listening to a piece while they sing it, they have a tendency to modulate their voice alot trying to match pitch, if you understand what I mean.
@03Dmartin OK, I'll explain. Modulate means to move into different keys. Assuming you have no musical experience, keys affect how "high" or "low" the melody, harmony, and song/piece as a whole sounds.
Starting at 0:36, listen to the melody. Everyone knows how this melody sounds for the majority of the verses: Hark how-the-bells, sweet sil-ver-bells, et ce-ter-a, et ce-ter-a. Notice how each time the melody changes from head to head, the "highness" of the melody changes.
@tiyenin Oh right, thanks. I have musical experience lol but I've never used or heard the word modulation in the context of key change, just signal change ox

haaa P.S. it is possible to have the score for my particular interest and perhaps for this holiday season to be able to put up 'with my men's choir? I ask you please if possible, no matter the format in which you can have it if pdf or jpg or whatever it was important for me ....
