Замечательная песня, голос, видео! Огромное спасибо за это видео!

  • 7 people are deaf

  • this...is...amazing...literally

  • I like this better than most of your other songs. No autotune is always better.

  • @Cray407 Alright I've listened to this 7 times now, I actually love it.

  • I think I ran out of breath just watching you sing this.

  • i need an amp for after thanksgiving , Im gonna playing this outside EVERY night!!

  • you are a genius

  • Amazing...impressive...enjoyable...and I am a musical person, so I don't impress as easy as some folks (nor am I as critical or picky as others ;-))

  • I dont thign im used to seeing "Dong" in giant letters onmy screen o_0

  • very very impressive!!

  • what video editing software, did you use if I may ask?

  • Incredible!! You are so talented. Sounds perfect!!

  • At my Junior High, the Select Choir, in which I was proud to be an alto in, did this exact arrangement. :3 FUN! :D

  • Absolutely perfect! :D And you didn't use AT? Wow, you're born to sing <3

  • dude this gave me chill

  • Where's the Mr. Mackey (or is it Mr. Garrison) version?

  • Perfect!!!! I know this will sound weird, but I collect different versions of Carol of the Bells. And this one is by far my favorite:) Thank you for doing this. It is now added to my private collection:)

  • I wish it was Christmas now. D:

  • awsome job man that is sooo cool.

  • this is very great

  • Great!

  • Nice. I apreciate a good song with this type of setup.

  • mind blowing.....

  • @skidude7253 Although I do use AT on some songs to touch up the piece, I did not use any on this song. You probably shouldn't talk about what you do not know, but thanks for listening.

  • @vanceperry you did use synth though right?

  • @vanceperry nice, i really like your work, i cant wait to hear more :D

  • @skidude7253 you got burned bitch!!

  • @skidude7253 You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I didn't detect any autotune whatsoever. I did hear some simple digital mastering with possibly some filtering to bring out each part. Excellent vocals! That harmony was Bangin!

  • @skidude7253 what sounds to you like autotune is probably just the harmony sounding like an autotune. I dont hear anything that sounds like autotune...????? Great Job Vance I enjoy your videos :D subscribed

  • @skidude7253 ^ exactly what you said. definitely AT.

  • OH MY GOD, what the hell is going on with this arrangement? It modulates half a dozen times in the span of ONE VERSE!!!!

  • @tiyenin It's the awesomeness of it.

  • @tiyenin It's because he's listening to it while he's singing it. It's not bad, I think it's awesome still, but when someone's listening to a piece while they sing it, they have a tendency to modulate their voice alot trying to match pitch, if you understand what I mean.

  • @darklightnin That, or he wrote it that way and it was intended.

  • @tiyenin what do you mean modulates? xo

  • @03Dmartin You are fucking kidding, right?

  • @tiyenin No, just want to know what you mean by modulates. Modulation of what?

  • @03Dmartin OK, I'll explain. Modulate means to move into different keys. Assuming you have no musical experience, keys affect how "high" or "low" the melody, harmony, and song/piece as a whole sounds.

Starting at 0:36, listen to the melody. Everyone knows how this melody sounds for the majority of the verses: Hark how-the-bells, sweet sil-ver-bells, et ce-ter-a, et ce-ter-a. Notice how each time the melody changes from head to head, the "highness" of the melody changes.

    Modulation!

  • @tiyenin Oh right, thanks. I have musical experience lol but I've never used or heard the word modulation in the context of key change, just signal change ox

  • @tiyenin and that's what makes it so much more amazing!!!

  • this is awesome. Sounds auto tuned but still a cool arrangement.

  • oh my GOSH ! you sounded like an ORGAN at the end! almost electronic! Neat song! Thank you for sharing your gift with the world! -from Coon Rapids, Minnesota

  • Terrific.

  • Very nice! what software do you use?

  • This is awesome.

  • This is so COOL! You freaking rock!

  • i think this is your best video ever. the harmony was flawless, i loved the key changes EVERYTHING was just phenomenal!

  • Fantastic!!! i got chill at the chord change...great job... *Subscribing!!!

I ask you please if possible, no matter the format in which you can have it if pdf or jpg or whatever it was important for me .... • @0:44 Is your voice really that deep, or did you pitch-shift it down an octave and mix it with the original track?

  • @TheJoshinator1

  • Question: do you record the audio separately from the video? and even if not is it tough to align all the tracks?

  • Hello! I was wondering if I could get sheetmusic for this arrangement? Im thinking about starting an acapella group at my high school, so it would be greatly appreciated!

    x

  • @darklordsexypants

dark, seems the piece was written as a 4 pc thing, man.

had a hard time finding it performed as such, but it's still the best way to hear this song.

  • your voice is very suited to bass but you do all parts amazingly; the accidentals are stunning. Well done!!! :O

  • alto needs a little work but man that was awesome!

  • you should do like a beat boxing one. just givin some ideas

  • i am speechless......i have watched almost all your videos and it is haunting how amazing you are! this is by far so far my favorite harmony wise it gives me goosebumps everytime i hear it!

  • Fantastic :)

  • This video blew my mind! Really cool production!

Can I ask you a question though: How long does a video like this take you to put together, from singing the first note, to uploading the final result to YouTube?

After doing my two full-length songs (that are amateur videos compared to this), I know how time-requiring it can be.

  • Thanks Simon! I always appreciate your comments.

This one took some time. Probably 20-25 hours of recording/video editing. It probably took me less time. I was familiar with the song and actually already new the bass part so it took less time than if I hadn't known it at all. Glad you enjoyed. Take care, Buddy!

  • Yeah I figured... Mine probably took around 15 hours each, but I obviously had significantly less video editing than you had. I wish I had the time to do more full-length songs. And I wish I had the time to learn to do videos like you and Josh! =)

Keep on singing dude! Hope to mee you some time soon!

  • @vanceperry

wow!! what a compliment!!! a gracious comment from the one the BShop Multitrack kings.

  • belmontaggio...5stelle

  • WoW I loved That!!!

  • I just listened it for the 50 time. This hour. I keep pressing repeat.

  • I LIKE IT

  • Very nice Job, I would recommend pulling back the bass and baritone tracks about 1/2 db. it's a little over powering.

  • @radartwin Thank you. Are you listening in stereo? Bass and Baritone are panned slightly right. It sounds fine on my end and in Mixcraft (my audio editing software). Just wondering if anyone else is hearing this. Thanks again!

  • on my headphones i hear but now my desktop speakers. weird

  • @vanceperry I'm listening to the HD video via headphones, and it sounds perfectly blended to me. :)

  • @vanceperry The bass and baritone parts are fine...

  • you frickin rock dude

  • magnifico!...

  • FAVORITE.

  • Amazing recording. How appropriate for the time being!

  • i agree 120%!!! :D

  • nice one. if you ask me (what obviously you didn't ;)) the higher parts do even fit you better than the lower parts (bass). but its great. subscribed.
