the british bulldogs were the best tag team and even not tag team wrestlers ever its crazy what steroids can do to you R.I.P DAVEY BOY SMITH we love you
His contribution to wrestling is often overlooked because he was a British wrestler in a predominantly American sport. But its because he was from another country that meant he had to try so much harder. He accomplished more than people give him credit for. Us Brits haven't really had anyone to cheer in wrestling since and he is sadly missed. Thanks for the memories, Davey Boy.
best thing i like about wrestling when i was a child..is was they were people i wanted to be when i grow up i looked up to them and wanted to be them they were like hero's i watch it now and laugh...and some times mock them...but theres a child in me that will always respect them because they gave me good child hood memories..fiday late nights staying up just to watch wrestling = good times..thank you wrestling for the good times r.i.p to all wrestlers who passed away and sacrificed for us
i live an hour drive from manchester, home of davey boy smith, and he really made me proud to be british as a kid, pure legend, god bless to both you and owen r.i.p
That one picture of Brian Pillman, Davey Boy and Owen Hart was pretty sad to look at knowing how all three ended up. Pity. But this was really a great tribute to an outstanding WWF talent.
one of the greatest in his prime. Very sad how his life ended, another wrestling tragedy...I remember watching him when he first came to Canada in the early 80's, he must have only weighed 170 lbs, but Davey and Dynamite changed wrestling forever with their dedication to the fans...miss ya Davey, thanks for the memories.
His legacy lives on through Harry, they're so alike its scary. But Davey Boy DESERVES to be in the Hall Of Fame and is one of those you can call a wrestlers wrestler. Makes me proud to be british.
I was thinking his addictions came from an injury he sustained in the ring in the late nineties. I am not discounting his possible use of performance enhancements but his injury from a trap door in the ring that he was slammed on in a match in WCW. I'm not sure but I think that is what led to his eventual addiction to pain killers. No matter I've heard he was a class act out of the ring. May his spirit live through his son.
I miss Davey so much. I miss Owen so much. And I miss Bret so much. They were without any doubt the best wrestlers of all time. Not only in the ring but also as persons. What great times they offered to us. May their accomplishments continue to be published on You tube, so the youger people can see what talented wrestlers are all about.
I miss Davey Boy. While he problems with drugs and injuries I thought of him of a great wrestler. Remember him outside a hotel getting ready to go to a match @ the ol Boston Garden in 1991. RIP British Bulldog!!! I Miss U!!!

welshnick300365 you a 43 year old man slagging off a dead man, i bet your life sucks doesnt it??
Who cares if Davey Boy was a 'drug crazed zombie', he gave excitement and pleasure to millions (including me)...what the fuck have you done in comparison?????
Actually life is wonderful. I've made enough money to retire next year. Excitement ?? It was all fixed ..... how can you get excitement from something that has a pre-determined result ?
Its called entertainment. You do not need to be a kid to enjoy the stories, the matches and the hype when you cheer for your favorite wrestler. Bulldog and Tito Santana were my two favorites of all time.
Truly great wrestler possibly the most underrated of all time
