  • muy muy bueno

  • ¡¡¡Ésto si es un concierto de Guitarra Clásica!!!

  • @aldo6666 I'm not sure what you mean, because he doesn't change the meter. Flamenco tremolo is different from classical in that it is played in quintuplets(piami) rather than the standard 32nds(pami). Downbeats don't change.

  • beautiful :)

  • Que pieza maestra. Me emociona mucho escucharlo.

    Tarrega es inmortal!!

  • Sublime!!!

  • I have just learned to play this piece of music and I feel like I am in paradise lol

  • GOD BLESS TARREGA

  • I would always bank on John Willaims' take.

  • My favorite performer of this is Pepe Romero. His tremolo is perfectly even throughout. Segovia's feeling is unparalleled though.

  • @bryan2j

Romero's tremolo is flamenco style (4 beats) rather than classical (3 beats) so it sounds somewhat more uniform when played slowly..

  • @bryan2j Unparalelled? At least paralelled here:

  • Don't forget N Yepes, he is also known for being a fine tremolo player and performs this piece beautifully..but don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with Segovia's playing.

  • lembro-me da minha pobre mas divertida infância, quando ouvia meu padrinho Alceni Duate, estudando violão clássico nos idos anos 60/70, hoje resta-me ouvir e ficar mais apaixonado ainda por tudo...

  • rippling water

  • Without doubt the best. Henderson also phenomenal. What I don't understand is why is Bream so good? I am saying that he is, but why?

Btw, these three are my favourites for rendition of Recuerdos de la Alhambra.

  • My friend you say the tremolo is not good ,here how the piece reacts in general NOONE played that piece better than him,he is singing all the way with deep colours that touch the human soul

  • I agree he's singing from start to finish..

  • my favorite recording of this piece...

  • It's segovia recording,great master

  • this recording often brings me to tears. It could well be the recording that inspired Julian Bream to play so we shouldn't be too hard on it.....

  • segovia had not really guitar fingers short and a bit fat

  • Is it really Segovia ?? The tremolo is not so well, the 3rd of the 3 tremolos cant be heard so clearly. Disappointing for Segovia.

  • why don't you post a video playing this same piece? show us how the tremolo should be done. and if you can't, be so kind and just stop writing such nonsense. we're talking about segovia.

  • Where is this recording from? I like the fact that he plays AABBABC, unlike most who just play AABBC.

  • sublime
