You play beautifully. Your guitar looks very much like my Rosa (1976 Dieter Hopf). It has the same rich tone as Rosa and it looks like you have a cedar top. Indeed, the tone is so similar. Anyway, your performance here is truly excellent.
thanks very much! Yes this is a cedar top and also from the 70th (1977). Indeed I remember the Hopf guitars from this time since my teacher had a guitar shop! They are pretty excellent and I bought this one only because it was a bit cheaper due to some blemishs.

No, I don't play concerts. But I often was sitting on a stage in my youth. BTW: the mics in front of the guitar produce a similar feeling. The mics are 2 Rode M3 and I use a Alhambra Audiogram6 as USB interface and Acoustica as postprocessor.

Bei mir klappt das mit dem "Besser Spielen" nur, wenn ich allein in der Kirche bin, was selten der Fall ist. Wenn ich mal in einer Kirche spiele, dann muß ich meistens vorspielen und dann hemmt mich das Lampenfieber so, dass ich längst nicht so gut spiele wie in meinem stillen Kämmerlein.
Frodo war heute mit uns cachen - er wird jetzt langsam alt, trottet besonders bei Wärme hinter uns her und fragt sich ganz offensichtlich, was die verrückten Menschen da im Gestrüpp wohl suchen ;-)

vielen Dank, ich hatte in letzter Zeit nur ca. 15 Minuten (gerade mal 1 Chaconne) pro Tag und hab deshalb lang daran herumlaboriert, insgesamt ein paar Monate. Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich bzgl. den Nägeln (wie man sie präparieren muss) beim Üben einen Durchbruch und hatte seitdem viel weniger Probleme. Das hat es am Ende ermöglicht. Die 32stel bleiben natürlich ein Problem wegen der linken Hand...

Irgendwie ist diese Chaconne ein so großes Projekt, dass ich mich ständig ermutigen musste, nicht aufzugeben und die Schmerzen in den Fingern einfach zu ertragen. Ne, ein Profi bin ich nicht, spiele relativ selten und steige wieder in die Klassik ein, nachdem ich meinen Folk- und Oldie-.Ausflug nach 5 Jahren beende. Das hat auch Spass gemacht, aber ich habe vorher Jahrzehnte Klassik gespielt und werde das für den Rest meines Lebens tun. Das Forum bei YouTube und die vielen netten gleichgesinnten Freunde sind da auch sehr motivierend.

This is the piece I would prefer to record to all others, but it is such a demanding composition that I never get fluent in all parts at the same time :-). Anyway for my part it was 14.36 minutes pure joy with a very good recording and an interpretation that made it sound fresh an new to me even though I know it very well. Good work! Greetings John
