When it comes to implementing academic ideologies in the brains of students, India pushes them to the Moon. The problem is, like you mentioned, the "environment" and more-over, the culture. They're so uptight with their history that they use it as a baseline instrument to derive present morals, values and beliefs. History is called History for a reason. These people just won't let that go.
