It's really sad that everyone thinks Joaquin is on drugs just because his brother died of an overdose. Haven't y'all noticed that Casey Affleck has been following him about during his "breakdown" with a camera taping everything? Casey is his brother in law, there's no way he'd just stay by and let his best friend and the uncle of his children have a public mental breakdown. This is all one big joke. I just hope movie that comes out of it, is funny enough to make people forget all this drama.

everyone thinks he's on drugs because he keeps going on camera talking jibberish with white stuff in the corners of his mouth. the last time i saw him interviewed on tv he was clearly absolutely smashed and had the classic signs of drug use - grey skin, huge black bags under his eyes, and not making any sense at all. not that its anything new... famous actors are notorious for getting messed up on drugs. the dudes a fiend! sorry, but its no joke.

Actually you are wrong. He is not on drugs, hes fine. His approach recently is true, its not an act, he is himself, however, Joaquin as a person is sensitive and very shy. His slurring voice only indicates that he is tired in general. And that can be interpret as he is on drugs but hes not. And if you watch him on letterman or whatever you can actually see that he is totally normal, just like a normal person. Its just that he is not creative anymore. People are use to ses his hollywood image.

on letterman, he was deep into creating his music and being away from movies. at the same time, he was probably into some kind of substance abuse. the documentary is supposed to show his transition from movies to music.
