but really.... all that modular gear and stuff, and just set a simple sequence with the octopus or whatever.

what u have LFO, gate triggers and all that stuff for .. using those would make it much more organic and exciting ...

im not sure what patches u really have going here but im sure u could easily pull of a simple drum sequence like this with the korg EMX and even have it sounding better... sure its not analogue but yeah....

I can't wait to get home and spend some quality time with the modular system. I moved the whole thing over to the other side of the room so that the sunlight wouldn't throw off the camera. More to be posted soon. Oh, and I've got a new audio interface as well, so the sound quality will be better. Lots of rewiring work first though.

This, my friend, is 100% true. There are annoying circumstances behind why I can't do that at this time. One of them being that my camera does not have audio inputs. I intended to rectify this by recording the audio with my audio interface and then matching it to the video but I can't do that right yet.

It would be nice if you used a direct feed for the audio instead of a mic so we can hear it more clearly. The sound doesn't do justice to all that cool gear.
