Whatever his past crimes I find Wilkerson to be a genuine thinker with inteligent, expert opinions, which are perhaps only possible due to his military experience, so you might say we have to take the good with the bad.

Yes the same forces that push for war with Iran. Well we shouldn't call it war, they want Iran broken and gone from the stage. Like Iraq, forever infighting and never be able to play a role in the region anymore. It's all about Israel.

I know where you're coming from and that's exactly how I feel about a lot of the media talking heads, Richard Armatage is the classic example.

But forgiveness has to be a part of our worldview at some point if we ever want to move fowards. I'd suggest a good benchmark is:

a: Do they acknowledge it was wrong?

b: Have they paid penance, for example, do they work to right their wrongs?

c: Will they ever commit a similar crime again?

I think Wilkerson qualifies.
