I apologize, I have not followed the video responses very closely. I have no idea who wrote this song. It was a royalty free song that was included with my editing software.
Wow, I think these ideas are a little out of my budget. I heard Bernie Madoff owns five of the theaters owned (that must be where the 50 billion went). Jesus Christ, I've never seen anything as extravagant as these home theaters.
Apparently they flew down a special effects guy to do all the fibreglassing for the cave look. I heard the fibreglassing was about $90,000 alone. I also heard that when the door opens and you walk in, a sensor is triggered that starts making water drop sounds. Pretty cool. Im not even going to mention the gear! Ridiculous!
A basic home theatre isn't as expensive as some people make it out to be. Of course you can spend tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars on one, but that's true with anything (will only a Ferrari for a car work, or do you settle for less?). Doesn't mean a nice one has to cost that much, especially if you're handy and can do some of the work yourself. Just need a nice sized room available, some extra cash, and the motivation and BAM! You have one of these in the video in your own home :)
I'm surprised that no one made a Fortress of Solitude home theater... think of it multi color changing lights built into the crystals ...chairs all made of white and the such!!!
Screens all need to be twice the size. With 1080p now and soon 2x home projectors, that is finally a reality. I want the screen so big I have to move my head to see it all - like IMAX or the latest digital Cineplex-type theatres. Stadium seating should be steeper too. But these theatres are really sweet.
A lot of really cool theatres, but I can tell that many of them were designed with lower-resolution projectors in mind. 720p tops. With 1080p and soon, 2x home projectors, you will want a much bigger screen. I'm talking about a screen so big you've got to nearly move your head around to see the whold thing - like the newest Cineplex kind of theatres. And how about real stadium seating where the 1st row floor is a good 6 feet below the 3rd row? Dreaming big here!
Me and my dad are turning our basement into a home theater/bar/game room. I'm just glad were not gonna waist money on all of the wall details. The only really sweet thing were putting in it is a star ceiling.
spend more money with the columns and chairs, lights, and flooring than anything else. then the lights go out and all you see is the screen. all i need is one chair, hahaha cause i wouldnt have anybody to watch movies with anyways. nobody to impress but i supposed it would attract the ladies big time if you did this

Luck yes and work. Luck alone does not accomplish things in life.
The Batcave looks sick, the stone like finish must be semi absorbing material.
