great fight. I like these rules alot. Makes it a bit more like a sport than a street fight. I think if mma were ever to become an olympic sport, these would be the rules to do them under. When it goes to the ground, only body shots, the rest is grappling. This will force activity and grappling which could be scored more professionally and technically than the current mma system. Also, this would leave stand-up fighting on the feet. This will separate the disiplines and enable better judging.

Shannon Ritch 45-72 hell even Mark Hunt is 5-7 those are losing records, Randy's 19-10 doesn't seem so bad when it's against top tier guys and isn't a losing record like the others i mentioned. He and Chuck made MMA big you should show the man some respect for that atleast as a fan of the sport.

cos ur a prat. The games in japan are so much better to watch due to better crowd (in most people's opinions) as well as giving younger, fresher fighters a chance. The games have rules that highlight more skill as well. The reason many of the best then go onto UFC etc. is because of money- pure and simple. If you check out the shamrocks or even bas ruten you can find interviews on how much they love fighting in japan and would go back if they could etc. etc.

they were un-aggressive on the ground for 2 reasons one because it's rings so there is no face strikes on the ground and 2 because it is top level wrestling vs top level bjj and randy doesnt have a background in jiu jitsu he built his career on smothering submissions.
