This is from PBS' Boston Pops-Jerry Herman, 2003 tribute. Unfortunately, it's one show that cannot be ordered online-Sometimes, some of the PBS stations replay these shows-
Like I said I love John and Michael and try to catch them whenever there on T.V. "jdlazar". When it comes to this song Michael Crawford just blows everybody out of the water (especially the version he does on his "Songs From The Stage and Screen" CD). He just has a wonderful, youthful energy on this. Overall Both Michael and John are two of the most dynamic singers from the stage in the last twenty years. Check out some of MCs solo CDs and you'll see what I mean. Both guys deserve more attention
Boston Pops concert honouring Jerry Herman musicals with Marin Mazzie, John Barrowman and Faith Prince from a few years back. there are many clips on youtube showing the other songs.
The second best version after Michael Crawfords. Love John and Michael but after seeing Michael bring the audience to a standing ovation this year and on top of that wiggle his ass and lead the orchestra during this song that is hard for anybody to beat.
its not a chain letter! its kinda scary at first but it really works!! paste this message into 3 comments and press ALT F4 and your crushes name will appear on the screen!!! its soo wierd

Note for Marin Mazzie: With a mouth like that, I could have devoured all of Paris and most of Europe.
I found it very interesting, and endearing, that she didn't cover her teeth with her lips like most singers do.

Marin Mazzie, you spit out Lisa Rinna right now!

I was talking about this kind of tribute in which Mazzie, Barrowman, etc are singing Herman´s songs... does anybody knows?

As I recall, this was a PBS special with the Boston Pops. It is not yet released, and I am not aware of plans to release it.

What a voice, what looks, why is John so under rated. He is the best musicals performer there is.
IanScott750 4 years ago 3
He is a mega-star in the UK, but really an unknown in the US. Very sad, because he is an unbelievable talent.
jdlazar 4 years ago 5
I think he's happy just being popular in the UK. His life is there

Don't know if I agree. I have listed to John and Michael back-to-back on several numbers. I think John has a better voice overall.

Ahhh! It's Marin! Why are she and Faith Prince not tagged on here in addition to John Barrowman?
