10 brownie points for any muslim who can answer a very simple question. (But please be careful, this question may destroy your faith if you cannot answer it.) Here is the question...
What *exactly* did your "prophet" muhammad prophesy that has (or will) come to pass?
may the Arhamar Raahimeen reward you for uploading such a wonderful video and also May the Arhamar Raahimeen reward the imam for such a wonderful reminder
Can someone shed a little light.. our willingness to meet Allaah is also balanced by our fear of meeting Allaah with bad deeds right?
On the one hand we love to meet Allaah with good deeds. On the other hand, we are keen to live longer to acquire good deeds? And we are afraid to meet Allaah with bad deeds?
Is this understanding correct? The two feelings don't conflict as they can change depending on their state. e.g. after a bad deed a person feels fear. After a good deed, one hopes.
@darklight254 those who fear to meet allah with bad deeds has to ask for forgiveness from and he will transfer their bad deeds to good one my allah forgive us all brother.
@ahmrou82 If Hitler asks for forgiveness, will your theoretical god ignore the Holocaust and let him into heaven because he finally became sorry? That would be unjust to all his victims. Your god does not do eye for an eye in that case. That is unjust.
@AthosAmo Hitler died a disbeliever (in Allah) as far as I know and thus he is out of question for mercy... Allah says in the Qur'an in Chapter 4, verse 40
"Indeed, Allah does not do injustice, [even] as much as an atom's weight; while if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward."
@AthosAmo Actually, it's upto God whether he forgives someone or not, in hitlers case, if he became a Muslim, he would likely still have to face the punishment for his crimes.
@Perseveranze But Hitler doesn't deserve any kind of rest, including the "rest" of non-existence, so if your idea of God lets him off the hook after a while in hell, he would be ignoring justice, which is eye for an eye, because it would be unjust to give Hitler (or another evil person) rest he doesn't deserve. He needs to burn forever for there to be justice. Or Jesus could take his place, having suffered and died in a limited time, to equal the eternal hell a sinner deserves.
@AthosAmo You should read about hell in the Islamic concept.
1. There's different levels of hell.
2. How long some people would be in hell for can seem like an eternity. Assuringly, Hitler would be in hell for a long time, enough for him to fulfill his deeds. The issue you need to understand is, "how long" is a very long time, since human years and hell years are two very different concepts.
@Perseveranze I know that a minute in hell can feel like an eternity, but you're ignoring my point that Hitler and those like him do not deserve any rest, and that means they don't deserve an escape from hell, and that means that giving such a wicked person that escape from what they deserve, would be unjust.
@darklight254 u are portraying the picture of a momin...its like a momin has two heearts, one is full of fear of allah n other is full of hope so its mainly between hope n fear.(mafhoom of hadith)
