He's not bad at all, but at the same time any decent cartoonist can do this since it's basically a very well done doodle. It's expressionism, not realism so it's not surprising it can be done this fast. Especially on such a large canvas, the details can be more vague and still complete a picture. If he did a 10x10" detailed portrait I bet he'd slow way down. Or even if he had to do realistic detail. I'd like to know how fast he did the two at the end of the segment.

People have different approaches to art, maybe he works better with a time limit like this. I know if I have a bunch of time for an art project- I tend to blow it off until the last second. It really depends who you are. Some people work well under pressure, some just don't. I really respect his artistic abilities as well as his speed, I think it's pretty nifty. It's just what he's good at! If they can have competitions on who can stack cups the fastest- why not who can paint the fastest? XD
