okay so you said your STOCK weights are heavier than the AFTERMARKET weight?? and you said the more weight the more pressure against your belt to make the belt stop slipping... wouldnt it be better to just leave the stock since they weigh more??
i just installed an epi clutch kit into my can-am and ran into a problem. it seems as though there is quite a bit of slop where those sliders run up and down along the sides. the wear is pretty bad and i think it is the cause of some excessive rattling, what do you think?
The weights do a LOT MORE than put pressure on your belt. They change engagement rpm and shift rpm along with how aggressive your shift is. Also I am glad to see you got diffrent weights. Is their a adjustable weight kit for the can am's?
the lighter the weights the higher rpms you will get before your clutch starts grabbing the belt. therefore giving you more torque when you take off. thanks for the great video it really help. kiteLe06 im with you all the way on stock car emissions.

No offense and I'm not ragging on you or anything but manufacture uses those certain weights on the clutch for a reason. You said when you put lighter ones on and the belt slipped. Why not just leave them all stock so it works the way it was meant to be?
