i used to have huge lag when edf ppl were on screen before, turns out other ppl also had this problem... to fix it just run the game in windowed mode smooth as butter no lag after that

I also had serious problems for lag.

Reduce the game and use ctrl+alt+del to bring up your processes menu.

Right click on rfg.exe and select 'set priority' - by default this is set higher than normal.

Set it to Normal priority.

For me this made the game run smooth as silk - vids, framerate and sound.

I just bought the game, the sound bug you mentioned is HORRIBLE. Is there any way to fix it like a patch or anything ? I can't even hear what other characters are saying to me cause of the sound of vehicles and crap around me.

They will come out with a patch to fix it they said.

I would say give it a week and it should be patched.

Did you actually finish the game like this ? I only did the first mission and the sound is already driving me crazy. What makes you think itll be patched in a week ?

Also another thing, under display settings I cant set it to very high or anything, whatever I choose it always goes back to custom..did u have any problems with that ?

And are you running the game with directx 10 in this video ?

they told people on the main rfg site forums they are working on a patch like 2 weeks ago.

and ya i beat the game like this even with shitty sound.i didnt understand almost half of the stuff they said in the game because of the sound.

the game was extra high for me and im sure dx10.

on the same specs as you, with a 940 @ 3.44ghz i get no game stuttering, unless im using fraps.

Ah. The 940 realy isn't anything tho, it's just the 920 but with a faster stock clock speed.

Do u have everything maxed out? 16sq?

I heard disabling ambient occlusion will stop the stuttering, I should try it out once I get home.
