I was raised catholic and educated by catholic nuns..even that i never suffered any abuse, What religion did to America from Barrow Alaska to La Patagonia Argentina was despicable somehow, There is still no tolerance in this planet. I got a proof...Irak, Africa,,,oil, greed, you name it. Thanks.
This Movie was very difficult for me to watch considering my own childhood. It is very good at dispelling the Myths about how good the Christians are.
We should Never forget this, or that the Sami were subjected to the same treatment. For that matter, the Scots, Irish, and Brits got the same deal, just a few centuries earlier. It makes it even more shameful that they became the new zealots spreading genocide and selfishness.
This is quite 'real' movie, partly based on people's lifes, if you know what I mean. I thought it would be fake and totaly distaster, but it wasn't. It's funny movie with love and action. You can walk away from many others movies, but you won't from this one, there is no doubt. See it on 'daving info'!!!

@matrix49A Man was created to commit war, but can you explain how more the 16 million people were reduced to a mere 237 thousand? We never really slaughtered ourselves, it was the terrorists that invaded this land. Did you know that in museums you can see the actually skulls of native children with their heads bashed in by the Calvary's that wouldn't leave until every man woman and child were all dead. Just thought you should know some shit before you decide to start saying shit.

Its not anymore a hard thing to watch the the films online now, with the quality of video you expect...!! yes thats true...watch the best at moovi.co.cc!
I saw it last night. literally the entire theatre was just laughing theyre asses off. I think its deffinently tied with the hangover in funny-ness. I watched it even again 0nn malifilmici.co.cc today, really works fine!
Gorgeous, lush, romantic, mysterious, painful, daunting, creative - these are the words that come to mind. This was the most compelling I've ever seen him, and you could tell he had learned his magic well, as his hands moved with fluid precision. Come and see it at kookíca, really magic movie.
Though fantastical at times, the story was told well enough to allow for suspension of disbelief; the magic tricks are fun, but the story really draws the viewer in. It is really nice movie to see on kookíca. So dont wait, come and enjoy it.
This movie was incredibly sweet and funny. I saw it and I really loved it...there are some funny parts and something for everyone... This movie is really well done.. I enyoje it last night on kookíca and I loved the story.
This is a great movie package; with good action, great acting, funny scenes, unpredictable parts and totally awesome ending. Wet Sunday afternoons will not be as depressing with these in your collection...believe me... Find it and see it without paying nothing...go to kookíca.
Haha when i went to watch this movie me, my sis, and my friend was planning on watching paranormal activity but my friend got scared cuz it was "based on a true story" so we decided to go watch this one... We found it at kookíca...
I instantly fell in love to this movie! He makes the best films. I saw it on kookíca! THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE!!! I understood it at the time but as soon as I stopped watching it- it confused me...
Just got around to seeing this movie on kookicá. Looked at the time when I had the plot figured out. 49 minutes. It runs 130. So I sat there for 80 minutes to see an ending that I knew. Yay. Anyways, good movie!
I think that probably what is the most moving though is that this film that I saw on kookíca is able to take hold of you and when you're let go in the end; the only thing you can think of is that you are just glad to seeing it.
This is a movie that will open your eyes, mind and your heart at the moment you start it. Don't be afraid, it is just a movie and movie special effects, it is not real..but it is fun. See it at kookíca, must be seen!
I believe this is a story that needs to be told for more reasons than can be counted, and I'm glad it's finally being told, but I do not agree with the filming of sacred ceremonies, these ceremonies were not to be filmed or photographed in any way, and I believe the production company and the director, being native themselves should have known that. It is important for us as native people to help repair the cultrual taumas that have plauged us for years, but in a respectfull and traditional way.
The story of abuse and mistreatment of children is that it is widespread in The Dominant culture, and from the vast bulk of first contact data, pretty rare in Aboriginal cultures.....
This is all about POWER.
It is time for the people of the Dominant Culture to recognise that it is dysfunctional, and that the wisdom of Survivors MUST be brought to the fore, for their stories are the living evidence, and where they have found pathways to recovery, so to might the Dominant Society's peoples.
@djlookwood Thank you for sharing your wise words, I suppose I am a part of the dominant culture since my ancestry is European based however as a Woman I am still atleast one step down from the Patriarchals who are the core leaders and am a survivor of this dysfunction. I would like to have your permission to use your words to share them so that the chain bringing the wisdom of the Survivors can continue to move forward!
@SpiritGirlSF For sure, use the words if they speak to your heart, to your rational mind. The story is our story, whichever culture we are born into, for it is the story of the natural child, born into an un-natural Society.
i'm a native filmmaker. I'm making a movie about boarding schools too but its a more old fashioned ghost story titled 'the unrest". check out the trailer on my page or just type in the unrest teaser trailer. hope u like it!
The older I get the more I realize that the so called western world is not all that civilized and that history continues to repeat itself. I am a free spirit that wishes I was born in America before the Vikings ever caught site of this land. This film looks fantastic. I am about to finish The Journey of Crazy Horse by Joseph M. Marshall III. A must read!
check out unrepentant a documentary of aboriginal genocide in canada by kevin annett know the horrible history of the genocide of native peoples there and also know that it happened here in america as well by boarding schools ran by the government and religious institutes knowing our bloody history can help save the future from repeating its horror
the lines are too stereotypical (cliche), at least in this trailer. if you're in native culture you've heard all these lines a million times. they're in every ndn movie!! hoping not to be disappointed when i finally get to see it.
This is a awesome movie! Native brothers and sisters watch it when it comes to your area. Support it or ask you tribe to bring it to your Rez. too see!
