You people are smoking crack that think this is better than the original. I think The Daysleepers are a good band, don't get me wrong..but really? The guitars never take it to the next level like the original did, and the drums suck..it is missing the soul of the song. I don't write that to take anything away from The Daysleepers, I like their original material a lot, and it is cool that they chose to cover this song..but these comments I am reading about this bettering Slowdive are ridiculous.

No even better, them and their friends where on a certain shoegaze blog stealing music from other bands like Slowdive and shit. They complained their album was on it after they stole enough shit from all the other bands we all listen to and the site got taken down. We aren't talking like hundreds of downloads. The funny thing is that is so fucking stupid it left a bad taste in mouth. So if they were to play Philly I would never go.

Oh wow. I kind of took the statement with a grain of salt. The Daysleepers is still one of the greatest shoegaze bands to exist, I believe (slowdive coming in second!).

@xroyceyeahx Slowdive´s the best of Shoegazing no doubt about that, but as far as creators...mmm you can track shoegazer all the way back to The Jesus and Mary Chain. I would say they are the fathers of shoegazer but Slowdive is the peak!!!
