yeah there's nothing llike a live U2 gig. nothing at all. too bad beiber, fergie, rihanna will never be able to sing or perform like these guys. with them it's the same old show -auto tune, barely there clothes(don't get me wrong i love it when ladies strip but that's not why i bought the ticket), tacky outfits, lame choreography, etc need i go on. i need real singers and musicians. everything U2 do is on the fly. nothing planned just go where the songs take you and banter with the crowd.

@TheEdgeSlash they played it every night, it's a huge staple of the 360 tour because the red and green light you see here on the video screen are used on the extended video screen on the new tour. The screen starts to expand in the middle of Unforgettable Fire and by the time they come to City of Blinding Lights it's extended so much that it's like a huge pillar in the middle of the stage, and they use it to stream the coloured visuals for the song as outlines while showing the band as well.

In Portugal, this was the 9th song and the 1st time all the lights came up. It was absolutely magic. I was taking some pictures and, then, I've just stopped and stared at everything, amazed.

That's why we love them. That's why we sleep 3 days on the streets to buy tickets.

Absolutely nothing give us those shivers and warms up our souls this way.

I saw this concert live and it was the coolest concert I have ever seen in my life. The vertigo tour was so technological and so cool I will never forget the moment they played this song. The hormones in my body went crazy it was one of the best feeling in my life when all the lights came on. U2 4 life coldplay will never has as many hits and popularity as U2 but they are also a very good band.

My opinion: I think, that Coldplay never will be so good as U2. They have good style, incredible guitars and other instrument as U2, but Martin is not so good singer as Bono. I don´t want say, that he is bad singer, no way, but he has very monotonic voice and his range of voice is quite short. And U2 - there is balance between great instrument and vocals. Today Bono maybe hasn´t so strong voice as in past, but still great and unique.
