  • You are missing (33) ejector rod head.

But you did get 22k hits.

  • hey nice old colt u got there man i want 1 so bad them things is bad

  • Colt did not start making the Police Positive until 1907.

  • also no .22 will ever beat a .32 800 fps? no its around 1100 .32 have a high velocity and a re very accurate you need to do some research.

  • this is not a 100 year old revolver. i own 2 original colt .32 revolvers one has been re blued the other is original it looks nickle plated or stainless. wich would mean this is a reproduction they did reproduce these in the 60's. mine being original will fire long and standard size .32 rounds i also own a colt .32 hammerless semmi wich will only fire shorts. and the sites are desined for quick shots meaning you point and fire.

  • @aramaki23 can these bullets be bought at bass pro shop or walmart

  • The serial number is on the swing out arm peice next to the cylinder when you open the revolver.

  • I have one of these I need nickled like you got

  • I recently was given one of these but I can't find ammo anywhere! Have you found any?

  • fuck A .22 the .32 revolver long is unusually accurate shot and was given to new york cops by president roosevelt i think because it was such a great shot....a fucking .22 can not kill no one inless you hit them in the back of the head that is just a mafia assassin's gun still is today used as a gangster assassin's gun! you know shit!

  • @johnm8h your right they dont have a lot of stopping power but they are hyper lethal a lead projectile that is relativly small will enter your body. The part in lethality is you relly cant predict the path of the projectile in the body and cannot acuratly determi what internal organs were damanged. Its one of the most deadly in its own methad.

  • You can find the mfg year on Proof House web site.

  • is the .32 colt the .32 colt new police?

  • @oldie4 32 colt new police is 32 s&w long like 38 colt new police both are s&w cartriges 38 colt new police is 38 s&w with flatnose lead bullets 32long colt is a rimfire style heeled bullet an actual colt 32 caliber cartrige, look up why colt didint want to put s&w on there revolvers new police instead of 38 s&w & 32s&w long

  • pretty interesting. I did not know about the 32 until recently. Thanks for sharing.

  • hello, good video. Just wondering what cartridge my Police Positive would take. It has pat. dates Aug 5, 1884, June 5, 1900, Jul 4, 1905. Marked "Police Postive/32 Police cgt". It is in great shape, but I want to be sure I use the right cartridge, don't want to have it blow up on me. Your help would be greatly appreciated, and please keep making these videos. TC

  • You know how much cost an weapon like that? I have one and i like to sell.

  • i use my dads when we go hunting as my sidearm such a clean shot no missfiers or fault shots wit these thingd

  • pretty cool. i was looking at my grandpas he had from when he was a cop.

  • All police issue long colts had a blued finish, they were not nickel plated.

  • I got one thats .38 SW in poor condition. Probaly trade it + cash for a .38 special or .357.

  • my gun says on barrell .32 police CTG it is second edition police positive will this fire .32 S&W Long ? thanks

  • the .32 s&w longs and shorts work in my police positve just fine...

  • yours is chambered for .32 s&w then mine is .32 long colt

  • mine is chambered for .long colt but s&w works too for me.

  • @aramaki23 in the police positive .32 S&W long and .32 Colt new police are interchangable because there the same cartridge. Colt just didn't want to give and advertising to it's main rival. So it made it's own .32 S&W long and called it .32 new police. .32 long colt and .32 short colt are interchangable but never .32 long colt and .32 S&W long.

  • @aramaki23

You think they have bad sight picture? Look at a nagant revolver :)

  • sorry man, i dont think it is a hundred years old.thay started in the 1910's on to the 1960's i think, thay went through many changes through the years. The model -----POLICE POSITIVE-Is only like 40 or 50 years old.still a nice gun though

  • rofl. I made a pivot animation and i got this in related !

  • The firing pin is different than the striker fired and dao revolvers of today! Thats a nice piece though:)

  • you should try calling colt. I am sure they would tell you. I have a police positive special in .38 special and they told me mine was made in 1972. I was inquiring about plus p loads. I would not reccomend dry firing that gun though.

  • that gun has horrible sights, you could practically slice someones head open with the sights.

  • is the gun chrome or nickel plated or stainless steel ?

  • nickel

  • very nice gun wish i could of shot it...cant wait for you to review my sigma

  • we will take it out again next time and you can shoot it

  • That gun islike an old woman who can still make you hard. She is beautiful if you dont look at the wrinkles. Good info, and good gun. P+<3
